We rent holidayhomes in L'Escala, l'Estartit en Pals. L'Escala is especially crowded in the summer but we like to promote it also outside the main season. There is so much more to do here than lie on the beach. Cultural and sporting activities, this is a very diverse environment. Try it out!

Why they chose this property
Holiday villa Sonni is a 20 minutes walk from the beautiful bay of Montgó and its wonderful sandy beach. The boardwalk at the beach is lively with cafés and restaurants. The historic center of L'Escala is also nearby and is always fun to visit. Next to L'Escala are the famous excavations of Empúries. These are very worthwhile to visit. If you like horseback riding, there is a riding school at the entrance to the village. Culture wise, there is much to visit like Figueres with its Museo Dalí, Girona with its beautiful cathedral and a little further of course Barcelona with Gaudi.
Sports lovers will have a good time. Water sports at sea as canoeing, jet skiing, scuba diving or snorkeling to name just a few. Excellent bike paths to the beach of Sant Pere Pescador, where you can go kite surfing, wind surfing or just soak up the sun.
Golf more your thing? There are several 18 hole golf clubs around L'Escala in all price ranges.
How about a day of skiing? Vallter2000 resort is located 120km from L'Escala!
Mountain biking is more your thing? Green trails abound. Still more of a road bike? Have fun at the many roads behind the Bay of Roses.
Girona Airport is 40 minutes away from L'Escala, so one week incl. a -rRental car is possible!
