Our centrally located apartment is a newly renovated 75 square meter non-smoking apartment and is designed for 1 - 3 people.

It lies on a mound (this means it lies on an artificially raised mound of earth, which protects people and animals from storm surges). From the terrace you have an excellent view of our pasture and our fruit and vegetable garden.

Da mir Nordstrand von einem früheren Urlaub bekannt war, war ich vorbereitet. Um die "Insel" aktiv erkunden zu können, sollte das Auto Pause haben und stattdessen ein Fahrrad benutzt werden. Für weniger sportliche Radfahrer wäre aufgrund des oftmals sehr windigen Wetters ein Pedelec sinnvoll. Für den Besuch der sehr schönen Stadt Husum mit einer interessanten Geschäftswelt um den Binnenhafen herum bietet sich die Benutzung eines Busses an. Die umliegenden Inseln und Halligen können gut vom Nordstrander Hafen in Strucklahnungshörn erreicht werden. Bei Sturmflut kann es passieren, dass der Fährbetrieb eingestellt wird. Erlebnisreich ist die Fahrradtour ab Norderhafen am Deich entlang zur Hamburger Hallig. Dies ist die einzige Hallig weltweit, die mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar ist. Auch die beiden Töpfereien in den Orten Süden und Süderhafen sind einen Besuch wert.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung auf Nordstrand

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war sauber und die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche übrig, von der ausführlichen Ausstattung der Küche, über zahlreiche vorhandene gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten bis hin zu Waschmaschine und Trockner war alles vorhanden. Unsere verregneten Urlaubstage konnten wir im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer trotz des Wetters genießen. Sehr ruhige Gegend und von vielen lieben Tieren (Pferde und Schafe) umgeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
