The holiday apartment is located at the beginning of the village Frutigen. There are only a few minutes to the city, bus station and the rail station.

Locations and arrival: Frutigen 800 m - this impressive regional centre lies in the heart for the Kander vally. Its infrastructure makes in the ideal excursion destination for inspiring outings (Adelboden.16km). The Adelboden-Frutigen holiday and leisure region is situated in the Bernese Oberland, approx. 15km south of lake Thun. It can be reached easily by public and as well by private transportations from all directions. Till Frutigen good Train connection. Train connection from Airport Zürich to Spiez, change to Frutigen, also good trail connections from Frutigen to Interlaken, Thun, Bern ect. A bus service operates between Frutigen stations and Adelboden, Kandersteg. International flight connections to Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zürich.

Walking region: From Frutigen you are in 20 minutes in Adelboden-Silleren, Engstligenalp. Also in Kandersteg (Oeschinensee). In 15 minutes you reach the walking region Elsigenalp and Kiental.

Fantastic to Stay

The property was exactly as described. The host was really kind and helpful to us. I totally recommend this place if you want to explore the nature in Switzerland. You can easily access to many corners of the country by two hours drive maximum.

A lovely apartment offering a comfortable stay with everything you need...and more! Lovely views of the hills front and back in a quiet setting. Parking right outside the door and easy access to the nearby hills/mountains.

Excellent Exprerience!

Very friendly and welcoming, the house was clean and easy to move in. The house is stocked up with all kinds of necessities that you may need which is amazing. All the attractions are driving distance. I would highly recommend this place for anyone as the house is also extremely family friendly. Thank you very much for the pleasant experience. We could not have imagined a better experience than this :)

Relaxing holiday in Fruitigen.

The apartment was as described by the owners - spacious enough for six persons, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. The bedding was particularly comfortable and plenty of changes of linen and towelling supplied. The owner was friendly and readily available to answer any queries, or to give advice ,though not at all intrusive. The property was an easy walk from Fruitigen Bahnhof and we found the shop keepers/assistants, and people generally, very friendly in the village. It was an ideal base to explore locally and further afield. For example, we took the exciting post-bus trip up to Griesalp, and also visited the Valaisian villages of Binn and Moosalp, and also visited the Valasian spa village of Leukerbad where the boys enjoyed three hours of the thermal springs.The proximity to Spiez (12 mins) is very convenient as there is the option to make the speedy journey from there, through the "new" basis tunnel to Visp or Brig. The wonderful viewpoint of the Niesen is near at hand, and Adelboden only half an hour by postbus. The youngsters enjoyed their trips on the Rodelbahn at Kandersteg (half an hour) after a visit to the beautiful Oschinen See. We had several excellent meals at the Bahnhof at Kandersteg and also at Spiez.. Spiez itself is well worth a visit, to take a trip on the lake, explore the castle and its grounds or just to stroll along the lakeside to Faulensee. There are so many places to see that we must return. I would definitely recommend this property to friends or relatives - it is excellent value for money.
