About this property

Nature reserve all around! A place to relax! Sports, games and fun

Huus ton witten Barg

Quotation of a guest: The plot and the house has optimal conditions for deceleration!

The holiday house has a living space of approx. 140 sqm. The rooms are flooded with light thanks to the large windows and double-skinned doors. When the weather is fine, open it and move it outside to the large terrace, which is about ten meters long and about three meters wide on the west side of the house. So you have sunshine from the early noon hours. The smell of spring, summer and autumn then flows into the house. From the living room and from the kitchen you can enjoy the view of the park-like property. Your view then falls on a large green area with old trees, especially on 100 years old oaks. From there you can enjoy the often beautiful sunsets in red to violet tones or the glittering winter days with the makellosen snow surfaces. Look north, there is a large greenhouse with herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers and much more. To the south lies the deciduous and deciduous forest, which changes its face according to the season.

In the morning at breakfast, you can still see light fogging under the first sunrays. If your desire for grilling suddenly comes up ... no problem. In the house is an electric grill and a charcoal grill can be set up in minutes. In the sun it gets quite hot sometimes. Now it's time to move out the large awnings in front of the living room and the kitchen and you are already sitting in the shade. The cozy garden furniture then lead to a small nap. So the day passes here in the heather in wonderfully relaxing calm.

Even in winter the house offers a cozy, cozy atmosphere. In the snow you can see a wonderful white winter landscape. The white glittering surfaces are only interrupted by some animal tracks. Here, foxes, hares, hedgehogs, deer, deer and of course many bird species not only say good night, but also during the day often catch a glimpse of otherwise rarely seen. After an invigorating walk through the white winter world, with clear, clean air, you will receive the cozy warmth of the house and let you forget the cold.

The house and some paths are handicap friendly. In the large bathroom is a passable shower and the two steps in the hallway can be made passable by a ramp. Several parking lots are available at the house.

The property makes every dog heart beat faster and also the master, resp. Mistress can be reassured, because the property is surrounded by a fence about 1.7 m high. Your four-legged companion will cost you € 8 per day.

The house has W-Lan and a fixed telephone.

It is a non-smoking house. Of course, you can smoke on the terrace.

In the event that you are more people and want to camp in the garden, there is everything for 4 outdoor dormers available. The costs incurred will be settled on the spot.

The interiors:
If you enter the house from the west side through the glass door, the light-flooded hall will welcome you. A wardrobe provides plenty of space. Downstairs in the hall are games for outside.
The small, blue-tinted bathroom with a rain shower is located just to the left of the entrance door.
The living room opposite stands out with its large windows. There are possibilities for playing, watching TV and listening to music. It has a large flat screen TV and a DVD and CD player. There is no lack of social games, books and DVDs for all ages. There is also an additional sofa, which can be used as a single bed. A fixed telephone is available for a fee.
In the spacious top-equipped kitchen, you can forget the time when dining and telling. You also have a beautiful view over the garden and countryside. Comfort and functionality have top priority. Would you like to spoil your family? There are hardly any limits.
Next to the living room is the utility room with washing machine, dryer and freezer.
Opposite are two bedrooms for two people each. One is a cozy country-house room with a French double bed, the other a light-brown calibration room with two variable single beds. A baby's cot can be placed in both rooms if required. Both rooms have spacious wall-mounted closets. All rooms facing south are equipped with electric blinds. Thus, they do not heat up too much when exposed to strong sunlight.
Opposite the bedrooms is the large terracotta-colored bathroom with spacious rain shower, large bath and two sinks. The shower is wheelchair accessible. The toilet is behind a small screen.
The third bedroom is at the end of the hall, we call it Master Bedroom. There is the possibility to take off a sofa for a double bed and put up a baby bed. It is decorated in simple, modern white with a flat screen TV and a DVD and CD player. In the back of the large wardrobe are the shelves for the garden furniture and the small paddling pool.
There are different pictures in the house; From children's paintings to works by famous artists. Also the color of the house is very friendly and varied. Care was taken that the holiday, the most beautiful time of the year, is supported by the cheerful atmosphere in the house and positively affects the mood of the residents.

The property:
Quote of a guest: A gem in the Lüneburg Heath!

The large pond, 60m from the house, is not fenced and not separated. Parents have to pay attention to their children and stick.
They make holidays on a completely fenced dream property of approximately 4 ha area directly at the nature reserve.
To get to your holiday home, turn right at the sign "Huus ton witten Barg" into our small private road and you will see the large, double-lined garden gate at some distance. Behind the gate stretches a mostly well-mown lawn, on which can be gorgeous.
To the left, the mixed forest begins with cool trails, where wild blueberries and many different ferns grow in some places. Here and there a bank invites you to linger. Somewhere in the forest you will also find a trolley box ... let yourself be surprised.
On the west side of the property is a large bilberry field, where you can buy berries in summer or even pick your own. Then it goes down to the right to the pond, which is about 400 square meters. There you will find cozy seating areas from which you have a wonderful view over the pond and the adjacent fields. You can also sit comfortably in the hammock under a huge oak tree and a large birch and let yourself be easily swayed by the wind, until you relax asleep.
Then head back east, past the greenhouse, look right over a lawn with old trees, left over the fields and are already on your terrace to enjoy the next day.

The heathland:
Leaving the property, the first heathlands are about 2 km away. You can drive directly to the areas by car and park there. The walk there is always worth, especially from the beginning of August to the end of September. Then you can often see the heather bloom.
In Wesel we have a large herd of sheep's snake, which sometimes even reaches our fence.
The Heidschnuckenweg is a 223 km long long distance hiking trail, which is about 1 km behind our house and was chosen as the most beautiful hiking trail in Germany in 2014. It leads north-south direction through the Lüneburger Heide from the station Hamburg-Neugraben-Fischbek to the castle Celle in Celle. Around the holiday house, there are of course also many other ways to walk through paths through heather, forest and field.
You can also go by bike in all directions. 700 m from the house is the bus stop of the Heideshuttles, which regularly runs through the heath during the season. You can take bicycles and get in and out where you want and the whole thing free of charge
Wesel is near the Wilseder mountain, and there is the possibility to visit many picturesque villages.

Offers on site:
If you stay longer than a week, a starter kit is ready for the first small meal in the refrigerator.
If you book longer than 14 days, there is a 3 - course menu with Hamburg specialties, which you can of course book without a long stay

Familienurlaub
