About this property

The unique feature of this property is the spectacular panoramic high bluff view of Lake Superior. Our property has direct access to the Blue Jay Vista Trail for both snowmobiles and ATV's. The A-frame structure features vaulted 2-story window views facing east to Lake Superior. Relax or dine on a second-story deck that provides expansive views along the north shore, Lake Superior, and the sun setting through the woods. The A-frame is completely secluded on 6 wooded acres. The property features two outdoor fire pit areas with plenty of seating and fire wood is provided.

Another unique feature is the location. Easy access for groceries, wine and spirits, eateries, and gas. Beaver Bay is close by with more restaurants and shopping. With several state parks nearby, guests will find numerous hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, and scenic views. A snowmobile/ATV trail system is within walking distance of the property.

The A-frame was completed in 2009 and is a perfect blend of new amenities and an 'up north' interior décor complete with log railings, furniture, and tongue & groove throughout. The great room has a vaulted ceiling and panoramic unobstructed views of Lake Superior. Enjoy an even more expansive view from an outdoor seating area on the edge of the bluff.

Stayed for Grandmas

I think this property is no longer on VRBO. It has a great view. Rate was a little misleading because any more than 2 guests had a per guest charge, which was strange for a 3 BR / 2 BA property. All good but more than I would usually spend, just needed a place available for Grandma's.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was a perfect landing spot for our family. We enjoyed relaxing in between hikes and taking in the beautiful view of the lake!

Fantastic view, cozy cabin

The cabin was as listed, beautiful view and warm and toasty. The kitchen had everything you would need, including an air dryer, toaster oven and Keurig. The beds were comfortable, heated floors were awesome. We were close to snowmobile trails. Two bedrooms downstairs and one up makes it nice for families. Thank you for a great getaway!

It is a setting that appeals to those who want to do nothing but relax & enjoy the beauty of the north shore, to those that prefer to be active outdoors.

We chose this property for the unique expansive view of Lake Superior. An added plus is the location and proximity to many state parks, Lutsen Ski Resort, restaurants and stores.

What makes this property unique

The view of Lake Superior changes constantly so we enjoy the ever-changing scenery. We continue to find new scenic locations that are accessible on short or long hikes, or on recreational vehicle trails. The views are spectacular both inside and outside so the weather does not inhibit full enjoyment of the beauty of the north shore.
