SAXON SWITZERLAND - The summit of Nature

Just beyond the gates of Dresden towards the border CSR surprised one of the most unique natural attractions of Germany: the romantic rock formations of the Elbe sandstone, applicable in many parts of the National Park.

Bizarre rock pinnacles, reefs and deep gorges alternate with wide plateaus, large, silent forests and charming valleys, over which rise mesas. Embedded in pure nature: the Elbe, on the oldest paddle steamer fleet in the world operates, and many a cozy town.

Clear, because vacation is the most natural thing in the world: 1200 km of hiking trails await cozy and sophisticated natures - in dense diversity that is unparalleled, from walking paths to alpinism. Approximately 14,000 (fourteen thousand!) Climbing routes from easy to extremely difficult lead to 1,100 free-standing peaks - as we wish -
Bergheil!
