Located in the middle of a quiet residential area, "Casa Tamaris" offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful areas of Portugal! Relax in the fully equipped villa with heated pool and with great attention to detail and enjoy yourself picked oranges and lemons from the large, private garden with a cozy breakfast on the terrace.

Activities:
The Algarve is a very well developed region with a wide variety of possible activities. In the vicinity of Casa Tamaris there are many larger and smaller beaches that invite you to relax, swim and walk. Also on the larger beaches there are offers for jet skiing, kite surfing or for a tour by boat through the caves. There is also a very nice hiking route along the cliffs between the beach of Benagil and Praia da Marinha. Within 20-30 minutes by car you can reach a larger water park, several larger and smaller cities with beautiful old towns and shopping arcades (Portimao) or historical sights (Silves Castle). For a day trip, a trip to the most southwestern point of Europe (Cabo de São Vicente) including a trip along the west coast, where you can discover hidden bays with beautiful beaches in a breathtaking panorama, is worthwhile. On the other hand, the Monchique Mountains with the Foia Mountain are also worth a trip, especially for lovers of hiking. In the town of Monchique, with winding streets and a beautiful view of the Algarve, it is worth trying some hearty regional specialties in a rustic restaurant.

Felt like coming home

Carvoeiro is our favourite place to visit in Portugal and holds a special place in my family’s heart. This was our first holiday back to this area in 6 years so we wanted somewhere that felt like a traditional villa and to us Casa Taramis ticked all the boxes. A lovely, clean, well presented villa. Martin the host was very quick at responding and happy to answer any questions I had and supplied lots of information. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for helping us make some more wonderful memories!

Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderfully relaxing two weeks at Casa Tamaris. The villa is in a quiet, residential area, not far to walk to the nearest beach. Carvoeiro was only a 35min walk away (and we used to get a taxi back again in the evening). Lots of superb restaurants in Carvoeiro to dine in and beautiful walks to explore the coastline. The villa is well equipped, peaceful and the pool is nice and large for all to enjoy. The gardens are just beautiful, especially the trees. Just a shame we had to come home!

Very nice clean and beautiful place

However getting taxis is a myth and there is no local supermarket which is out of the villa owners control but we still had a lovely time!

Fabulous villa in a great location

If you want a great relaxing holiday this is just perfect. The villa is beautiful. So clean and inviting and has everything you could want or need. Set in a beautiful area with a golf course near by. A car is needed to get to an from the village for meals and shopping but other than that it is idiilic
