The log house is renovated and fully equipped. In the living / dining room there are two sofas, and sit together or watching TV. Two large patio doors leading directly onto the terrace and in the spacious garden. The dining area can accommodate 4 persons. In the small kitchen everything is housed what you need. Refrigerator, stove with oven, coffee maker and kettle. then stands for a relaxed sleep in the sleeping area (above the living room by stairs) a 1. 80m x 2. 00m large, double bed ready and an extra bed. read or rest to you can to. 2 Living retire. Excellent Property with plenty of space

Normally a very quiet place. During the Kirmes weekend in September music will be heard until 2am at the weekend. Otherwise this place is in a good location. Everything is very clean and the host is most generous in providing lots of towels, toiletries etc. We had a good time. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay - sehr schon

Stayed for 4 nights in August to go walking and cycling in the Eifel National Park. It was very close by and the trails could reached within 5 minutes by foot or bike. The chalet was lovely - very clean and in a beautiful setting with lovely views from the sunny terrace. Had everything we needed and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The town of Heimbach is also very pretty and a nice place to walk to (a bit of a hill on the way back!). Thoroughly recommend and would love to come back again.

Sehr schön und ruhig.

Abgesehen vom Wetter war es sehr schön dort. Unterkunft war sauber und gemütlich. Alles da was man braucht. Sehr nette Vermieter. Lebensmittel einkaufen ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto. Super zum runterfahren, schön auf der Terrasse sitzen mit schönem Ausblick. Auch bei Regen kann man zu zweit da sitzen. Würden wir wieder hin fahren.

Gemütliches Osterwochenende mit der Familie

Die Familie Küpper war sehr unkompliziert und sehr nett. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit, schon um 14 Uhr einzuchecken, was uns sehr gelegen kam. Die Einrichtung der Hütte ist sehr gemütlich und das Bad ist modern und funktionell. Die Größe der Dusche ist etwas klein, was für große Personen (wie bei meinen Brüdern) zu kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten führen kann (das ist aber kaum der Rede wert). Über die gut verteilten Heizkörper lässt sich der Wohnbereich zügig wohlig warm werden lassen. Der Garten ist in Richtung des Tals ausgerichtet, weshalb man gerade zum Sonnenauf- und Untergang einen wundervollen Ausblick hat. Die Lage der Hütte ist wundervoll. Mit einem kleinen Spaziergang ist man schnell an der Ruhrtalsperre und der Nationalpark Eifel ist direkt um die Ecke. Im Ort gibt es zudem mehrere Supermärkte, eine Tankstelle und Apotheke, weshalb man sich dort sehr gut selbst versorgen kann. Ich kann die Hütte nur weiterempfehlen!
