About the property

The location and the ensemble

Our farm is located in a secluded location on a hillside in western direction at 800 meters above sea level, surrounded by its own meadows, pastures and forests. Here there is peace and solitude.

The ensemble of farm buildings is distinguished in that the 400 year old main house was not replaced by a modern house, but instead lovingly restored. The same applies to the separate guest house and the barn.

Amenities guest House

Our guest house consists of a living room including kitchen (with dishwasher) and hearth furnace central heating, a bathroom (with bath, underfloor heating and washing machine) and an entrance hall on the ground floor and a bedroom with four beds and a baby cot (without metal parts, Green Earth) in OG.

Immediately prior to the guest house there is a east-side terrace (with wooden floor), on the one breakfast fine. A large south facing terrace and a further terrace to the west are also available.

The guest house was biologically ambitious renovated and is fully equipped with quality furnishings (eg duvets and -pölster and tableware). We solicit careful handling.

Heating is by a thermal solar system and piece of wood in a modern hearth furnace together with buffer memory. Firewood store before house. Guests can heat itself. The house is suitable for winter use.

What to do or not do?

With us you can get out of the stress of everyday life, recharge your batteries, enjoy fresh forest air, to think, to work in peace, read, write, artistic work or do anything.

You can alone, in pairs, four threes or make five of them. The facilities (four beds plus crib) also allows a stay with young children.

all around

The guest house is part of an organic farm. In Hofnähe grazing sheep and lambs. Chickens roam freely. Geese inhabit a vast outdoor enclosure and ducks inhabit a small pond. Cats do around the barn their Mausearbeit.

The Pastures of agriculture are surrounded by forest which is ideal for strolls and hikes. Simply leave the yard walk to the Stanglalm or visit the Alpine Wind Park Hochpürschtling.

A forest stream (Bärenbach) flowing close to the yard. The allows children splashing around in the cool forest brook.

Other recreational activities in the area

In the center punch (about 4 km from our farm) there is a large pond, which invites for swimming in summer.

On the Schanz Sattler (1 100 M above sea level), a 7 minute drive away, is a children's surface lift (ideal for children in the early years on skis), which allows Kinderskiausflüge in winter. In winter you can go for snow conditions on the farm's meadow Bob and tobogganing. Forest roads also allow longer toboggan walks.

We charge EUR 25.- per person and night, but at least EUR 50 per night, plus a cleaning fee of EUR 100.- once.

Mit Liebe zum Detail renoviertes Häuschen

Der Empfang hat reibungslos geklappt und auch alle Fragen im Vorfeld wurden immer umgehend und nett beantwortet.

Das kleine Gästehaus des Bauernhofs ist mit Liebe zum Detail renoviert worden. Hier passt alles zusammen.

Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, besonders das Geschirr hat uns sehr gefallen. So schön und zum Ambiente passend haben wir es bisher in noch keiner Ferienwohnung vorgefunden.

In der Umgebung gibt es viele Wandermöglichkeiten, man könnte sogar direkt am Haus starten.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Ruhe absolut genossen (abgesehen von den doch recht zahlreichen Mücken), unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Tolles Anwesen, sehr geschmackvoll renoviert!

Wer die Ruhe genießen und in einer netten Umgebung entspannen will, ist hier genau richtig! Wir hatten das riesige Grundstück ganz für uns allein und konnten alle Sitzmöglichkeiten und Ausblicke ausprobieren. Auch das Ferienhaus selbst ist sehr authentisch und gleichzeitig auf modernem Standard renoviert. Wir mussten leider einige Abende im Haus verbringen, weil die Gelsen in der Abenddämmerung zu aggresiv waren - aber auch das war keine Katastrophe. Der kleine See im Ort ist für eine Abkühlung hervorragend geeignet und die Wandermöglichkeiten in der Umgebung sind sehr gut!

Traumhafte Ruhe in schöner Almlandschaft

Hier haben wir (Paar, 49/50 Jahre) gut eine Woche traumhaften Urlaub genossen. Stanz im Mürztal ist gut über die Autobahn von Wien aus zu erreichen, das Haus selber liegt aber abseits einer kleinen Straße außerhalb des Orts mitten in einem großen Wald- und Wiesengrundstück. Dort hat man wirklich seine Ruhe und kann sich auf Liegestuhl oder Gartenbank die Sonne auf den Bauch scheinen lassen. Oder den Blick in die Berglandschaft schweifen lassen (gerade am Abend oder fühen Morgen toll). Auch allerlei Tiere und Pflanzen gibt es zu entdecken. Und für Kinder gibt es etliche Spiel- und Abenteuermöglichkeiten (Baumhaus, Trampolin, ...). Gleichzeitig hat man die Möglichkeit, Wanderungen im Hochschwab oder den Fischbacher Alpen zu machen, mit dem Auto ist man in weniger als 45 Minuten dort.

Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küche und der Essbereich mit wertigem Geschirr. Eine Waschmaschine im Bad erleichtert das Leben. Den Kachelofen haben wir wegen des warmen Wetters nicht genutzt, sieht aber sehr brauchbar aus und macht sicher Spaß mit ihm zu heizen. Die Schlüsselübergabe usw. liefen perfekt, der Kontakt zum Hausbesitzer ist sehr angenehm und freundlich.

Ganz klar eine Empfehlung.
