You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay: A bright, modern, well maintained apartment with patio and plenty of privacy in a beautiful location. The apartment is 20 minutes walk from Salzburg's center, or 10 minutes by bus. The bus stop and a supermarket are directly opposite. The apartment has a bedroom, a living room with additional sofa bed, a bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower and a kitchen with all necessary utensils.

Why Silvia Almer-Eichhaber chose Salzburg

My husband's family is from Salzburg. We met during college. I still remember how much we liked walking or biking to town at that time. To pick up fresh bagels at the bakery at Funder in Nonntal or to walk into the inner city via Nonntal or the Mönchsberg! If the hike back home seemed too long, we just hopped in the bus and arrived back home in minutes. Awesome!

Fabulous

The apartment is wonderful just right for 2 people, clean and tidy. You can catch a bus into town or walk, which we did takes about 40 minutes. Lovely area, safe and wonderful views, I would recommend this for a couple.

Fantastic apartment.

This apartment is better supplied than my house! It is in a good location. Bus is right across the street. Restaurants and grocery store are very close. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

Very nice apartment

This very nice apartment is in a building with other apartments. It is on the first floor facing a busy street. The in-town contact was very helpful in answering questions.

The bed was very comfortable. I believe it is a 'memory foam' type mattress.

The first impression of the bathroom is wow! Everything is polished brass. It is compact but very modern and functional. There is a medicine cabinet for storing things that won’t fit on the sink. The bathtub is very fancy with all sorts of spray options and a jacuzzi mode. The 3 knobs in the bathtub are not the same 3 knobs you are used to.

There is an extensive home sound system which probably needs a training class :). I was afraid to touch it other than to turn on the TV. It even has remote control lights in the bedroom and living room.

You have a private little step out patio. Cushions are provided for the chairs on the patio. There are two friendly cats that will probably come visit you if you sit outside.

The kitchen is very compact with any possible item you would need for cooking. Shared laundry is in the basement.

Note that like most European city apartments, there is no air conditioning nor is there any system to move air around. Therefore your only relief on warm days is to open the windows. There is a small fan.

Regarding noise levels: The building and other tenants are very quiet. When the windows are open you will hear traffic noise coming from the busy street. If you close the windows, this helps quite a bit, but of course you have no ventilation if you do that.

There is a grocery store right across the street. Bus Line 25 will take you north to the city or south to the zoo, Hellbrun mansion and the Untersburg cable car.

Small clean needs a few fixes

The property was very clean. It was small but certainly better than a hotel. Kitchen was well stocked with basic spices. The bathroom has some very strange shower features that were hard to figure out. The one thing the owner must fix is the automatic blinds. They automatically open at 7 am. If you put them back down at times they just sort of go up on their own based on where the sun may shine. Being on vacation with a 9 hour time change I did not appreciate the blinds designating my sleep pattern. All in all good value. Bus stops very close the property. Grocery store across the street.

Elegant, Comfortable Home in Salzburg

Silvia’s apartment in Salzburg is one of the nicest vacation rental properties we have stayed in. It is nicely furnished, the décor is elegant and the bed is very comfortable. There is a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, glasses and utensils for those who might like to eat some meals at home. The location is very convenient with a grocery store and a bus stop right across the street. Despite the convenient location, it is very quiet and comfortable. The old town area is a 30 minute walk and another 20 minute walk to Mirabel Gardens. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and would stay there again if we return to Salzburg. Silvia responded quickly to all inquiries and was a pleasure to work with.

Piacevole soggiorno in una città magica e pulita

Sono tornato a Salisburgo dopo 23 anni, insieme a mia figlia Alice ed ho trovato una città bellissima, almeno il centro storico che abbiamo visitato. Monumenti in ottimo stato, strade pulite, cittadini che rispettano il codice della strada e persone molto cordiali, in quasi ogni posto. Ci siamo rilassati pur visitando almeno un paio di posti meravigliosi e abbiamo mangiato sempre ottimamente. La casa era perfetta e i vicini molto silenziosi. Al momento del ritorno, eravamo dispiaciuti di lasciare un posto così. Complimenti a tutti. Nicola e Alice.
