Gorgeous waterfront cottage

We absolutely fell in love with this cottage - everything about it was exactly what we had hoped for and more. We stayed for a month and look forward to coming back! The cottage itself is lovely; it's comfortable, bright & airy, with lots of room & a very well-appointed kitchen. The deck is large and is like adding another big room to the house. It felt homey in a way a rental doesn't always feel and we really enjoyed it. The lake is crystal clear and was a perfect temperature for swimming. In the month we were there, we saw only a few others out on the water so it feels very private & peaceful. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but you're just 15 minutes from Bridgewater so shopping & restaurants are very close by. Perfect. Karin, the property manager, is lovely and made check-in a breeze as she met us nearby and led us to the property the first time around. She and her husband were a great resource & responded really quickly to any texts/questions. The road in is gravel & a little rough in places but if you heed the warning about 4WD, the steep driveway won't be any trouble. Highly recommend staying here -- we will definitely be back!

Great place to relax

We had an excellent time with a clean and very comfortable cottage at a very nice and remote location. At the same time the cottage is located close to Bridgewater which we found very convenient for groceries etc. A small recommendation would be the beds of which 2 out of 3 could have a bit more comfortable mattresses... Overall, we look forward to come again ... highly recommended place....

Hebbs Crossing Stay

We as a family stayed at this perfect home and setting for 2 weeks. The home is beautiful and is equipped with anything that might be needed. It was very clean and spacious. Kitchen very well stocked and had plenty of linens and bedding. The setting is in the woods and right on the lake. The sunsets were beautiful and it was very quiet. We were amused by the friendly chipmunk who came to visit us daily for his fill of peanuts . Also saw deer and lots of birds. Karin was excellent to deal with. From answering questions and so kindly meeting us late at night to take us to the property. She was very prompt with her reply’s and gave us lots of tourist hints !! The farmers market which is 5 minutes away was visited daily for fresh fruits and veggies. I highly recommend this home for Antibes future stay. Joanne and family.
