Apartment on the Kunsthof Borsberg on the outskirts of Dresden

The lovingly restored apartment is located in a residential house on the 300-year old and listed building farm just above Dresden-Pillnitz. The hypoallergenic Non smoking apartment is very good for couples and families. The fully equipped kitchen has a ceramic stove with oven, a refrigerator with 3-star compartment, a dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The bathroom has a floor-level shower. One bedroom with double bed and a connecting room with sofa bed (1.40 x 2 m) can accommodate 2-4 people. Additional features: TV with DVD player, radio recorder with CD player, bookcase with city and hiking guides, tourist information and fiction, toys, games, children chair.

Weather permitting, a seat invites you to linger outdoors. Our "roommates" are currently two sheep and a cat. From our biological and organically farmed garden we offer seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables. If you are interested and art courses can be booked with us. The small town Borsberg, located below the same name mountain, part of the village Schönfeld-Weißig and lies in the northeast of Saxony's capital Dresden above Dresden-Pillnitz. The town was first documented mention in 1373. On the Borsberg is an historic Triangulationssäule, which was built in 1865 for the European level surveying. Just 2 km can be visited Pillnitz. The moated castle is home to the glass house of his baroque garden with 200 years the oldest and largest camellia in Europe north of the Alps. In scenic full Schönfelder highlands, above the Elbe Valley on the outskirts of Dresden and not far from the Saxon Switzerland is our guest apartment. Enjoy the idyllic location in the conservation area and the fantastic views of the beautiful surroundings. Orchards and forest characterize the hilly landscape between Pillnitz and Schonfeld. The neighboring villages Zaschendorf, Malsch village charm and village have preserved their originality with their half-timbered houses and farms. Numerous species of birds and wildlife in einträchtiger neighborhood with cows, horses and sheep, ducks and chickens, which can be met not only in the surrounding area, but also right here in the village. Those looking for tranquility this is the place!

From our farm you can but lovely walks into Saxon Switzerland company also comfortable tours through the Schönfeld highlands and Elbe hillsides and vineyards. You can expect a varied landscape with beautiful farmland and valleys. Of course you can reach most tourist attractions by bike. In Pillnitzer bicycle shop bicycles can be borrowed! If necessary we can give advice and information about beautiful hiking and excursions will be happy.

In Borsberg to spend varied holidays. The center of art and culture city of Dresden is just 30 minutes away by car. In 5 minutes (car) you reach Pillnitz and from there you can go by steamboat down the Elbe to Dresden or the Elbe to the Saxon Switzerland. Even with bus and tram from Dresdner City, new and old town of Borsberg in about an hour. The bus stop is located in close proximity to the accommodation.
Stout footwear, weatherproof clothing and slippers facilitate your stay in our old farm!
We are two sculptors who operate the Kunsthof Borsberg. During the summer months we offer sculpture courses for beginners and advanced. Our studio is also located in the courtyard. Artists who are looking for a quiet place to work, are welcome! The landscape invites you to draw and paint, and the court has the option of sculptural work. Our apartment can of course also be hired regardless of the art.

Tolle Wohnung in wunderbarer Umgebung
Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, sogar noch ein bißchen mehr. Superschön und liebevoll renoviert. Ganz wichtig: gute Matratzen für einen erholsamen Schlaf und eine riesengroße Dusche - bestens geeignet auch für Mollige! Wir hatten hier ein paar sehr heiße Tage - die Wohnung ist wunderbar kühl zum Verweilen. Die Lage ist super. Alles ist gut erreichbar. Dresden ist nicht weit. Die Natur ist beeindruckend. Die Gastgeberinnen sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sollten wir nochmals in diese Gegend reisen, werden wir gerne wieder eine wunderschöne Zeit im Kunsthof Borsberg verbringen wollen.

Persoonlijk, zeer rustig, smaakvol
Een beoordeling in het Nederlands, voor mogelijk toekomstige Nederlandse gasten: (Google Translate wird schon helfen): - zeer prettige, rustig gelegen en uiterst smaakvol gerestaureerde vakantiewoning in een historisch pand onder monumentenzorg. De twee zeer vriendelijke gastvrouwen doen hun uiterste best het je naar de zin te maken. Dresden is op fietsafstand. In de directe omgeving zijn allerlei wandelingen te maken. Landelijke omgeving door schapen en huiskat, en daardoor ook geschikt voor kinderen. Aan te bevelen voor wie stad en land wil zien in dit fraaie deel van Duitsland.

schön gemacht und gut gemeint
Der Hof ist sehr schön saniert, behutsam und mit viel Bedacht. Die Farben stimmen, der Hof atmet künstlerische und geistige Bemühung. Wir haben den Garten genossen und auch die Tiere. Die Gastgeberinnen sind freundlich. Dennoch hat man irgendwie das Gefühl sich einer fremden Idee unterordnen zu müssen. Es gibt eine Kette an der Hofeinfahrt noch hinter dem eigentlich Hoftor, die man bei jeder Durchfahrt öffnen und wieder schließen muss. Ob man zum Bäcker fährt, mal eben zur Apotheke oder oder. Anfahren - öffnen - einsteigen - anhalten schließen - weiterfahren. Wir haben das in den 9 Tagen Aufenthalt sicher 60 Mal zelebriert und mal versucht offen zu lassen. War wieder zu nach 10 Minuten Fahrt zum Bäcker. Es wird alles registriert. Neben unserer Terrasse grenzte nach wenigen Tagen ein mobiler Stromzaun an, weil die beiden hübschen Merinodamen den Teil abfressen sollten. Nur leider haben wir 1. Kleinkinder und 2. mussten wir unsere Mahlzeiten mit einem permanenten "Klack-Klack" einnehmen. Der Vierjährige hat auch prompt einen Schlag abbekommen. Vor Abreise wollte die Vermeiterin eine Übergabe machen und auf Mängel kontrollieren. Man hatte von außen zwei Fingertapsen an der Fensterfasche innen entdeckt. Schokolade oder Knete? Um Himmeld Willen nicht den Lappen nehmen, es handelt sich um besondere Farbe... Es gab auch Bedenken, wir könnten Berge Abwasch oder Müll hinterlassen. Viele Probleme. Nett gemacht, aber nicht für Menschen mit kleinen Kindern. Kein Easy living - klare Grenzen, aber leider nicht für beide Parteien.

Schönes Haus
Gepflegtes Ferienhaus , sorgfältig renoviert und eingerichtet. Geräumige Zimmer, hervorragender Küche. Kühles Haus. Ruhige Stelle, Terrasse in einem schönen Garten. Freundliche Vermieter.
