The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighborhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away.

Eixample Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and there are plenty of shops and cafés.

A short stroll through these beautiful streets takes you right to the centre, with the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions.

Pleasant break in Barcelona away from the crowds
On way back to UK after 2weeks in Sardinia we stopped off in Barcelona for a few days. Jose welcomed us warmly and gave us an excellent introduction of the apartment and the district. The apartment was well equipped, slightly limited by current building works so it was hard to open any windows. Its situation is fabulous. 15 - 20 mins and you are in the old city with all it business. On the way there are numerous restaurants with excellent food. A really good stay.

Perfect location for first time in Barcelona
The location and host Jose make an excellent combination for first time visitors to Barcelona! We had easy access to main points of interest, and great restaurants. Jose helped us select and plan our activities to make the most of our first time here.

Why they chose this property

I bought this apartment in 1997, and it was my own home during 8 years. Because family was increasing I need to change to another apartment bigger, but in the same area that was the area that I like to live. I filled a bit nostalgic to leave the apartment as a my own home. Since them I have been renting the apartment for tourist and professional reasons. As the experience has been so good for clients and for me. Later I decided to by four additional apartment in the same building and for the same reasons.
