The approximately 160 sqm house has stunning views of the coast.
In good weather you can even see the African coast. The 10 x 5 meter pool is usable all year. An outdoor shower is also available as well as a new built-in barbecue. As the house is newly renovated. The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen and a living room with sofa and satellite TV. From the approximately 33 square meter conservatory with dining table and chairs you also have a magnificent view of the coast.

If you want to chill out and not move perfect

Beautiful villa with breathtaking views, lovely terrace with multiple seating areas, both in the sun and shaded, pool was lovely. If you are looking for a place to stock up, chill out and do nothing it’s perfect. I have to advise the drive up to the villa (about 3km) from Sayalonga is not for the faint hearted, blind, steep, hair pin bends with sheer drops and a single track, take it easy, and keep your wits about you, you will be fine. The villa offers everything you need for that lazy week away from it all, you will not be disappointed. Probably not child friendly but as 4 adults we had a blast. One of the nicest pools I’ve had at a Spanish villa. Sayalonga is lovely, people really friendly, lovely to sit in one of the restraurants in the town square and watch the world go by. There is a large Mercadona (fab supermarket) in Algarrobo Costa, about half an hour drive from villa, stock up there, has everything you could possibly need. Recommend visiting Nerja, lovely coastal resort, not too touristy.

Stunning!

Casa vista al mar was a beautiful villa and provided us with a base to explore this wonderful part of the world. High up in the hills and 25 minutes from the coast, this the the ideal venue for up to 8 guests who love spending hot, lazy days in the sun or in the pool. The grounds of the villa are set up so that you can catch the sun at all times of the day. We cannot over emphasize how hair raising the final drive up the hillside to the villa is, with hair pin bends, single tracks and sheer drops. Once at the villa, however, you do not need to leave if the weather is good, other than for food supplies. The house was more than adequately equipped as per the description and barbecuing on the terrace was delightful. The house and the town of Sayalonga are set up to receive German guests more so than English, however this was not an issue as the communication with both the owner and managers was excellent. It is worth noting that the 4th bedroom is not accessible from the main house, it has it's own entrance, and so younger children could not sleep there, or people who need to visit the loo in the night.

Incredible location, did not want to leave. VERY peaceful. Quality, well-presented villa.

Pictures don't do this villa justice. The views are incredible. Spacious, clean, very well equipped kitchen, wonderful conservatory for soaking up the winter heat. Simple, quality furnishings. Air con units in rooms plus gas fired on-demand radiators which we did need to use towards the end of our stay, when it got cooler at night. Large beds with memory foam toppers, plenty of duvets. Weather was much warmer in November than forecast and only occasional wind. Our first drive up, led by the local host, was a bit of an experience as the roads were not what we were used to. After a couple of trips up and down, in daylight and at night, going very slow in places where it was bumpy and taking care on bends, I found it less of a challenge and went in and out of town regularly. Mobile phone/ data connectivity fantastic, with only the occasional dip in signal. Very spacious main bathroom with shower, bath, bidet, loo and basin. Host( available for maintenance issues and initial intro to house) doesn't speak English ( Spanish, German and Russian) but we got by with sign language and pointing! He was amiable and helpful when needed ( fuse had gone and temporary boiler issue). Immediate locale is pleasant for a walk but those with mobility issues might struggle. Some negatives: Small TV with no British channels and no DVD player. A few English books but mostly German. We had our own entertainment so not an issue for us. Shower room plumbing a bit gurgly at times; have to use bins for toilet roll waste, which we got used too but weren't advised about so we weren't sure. Grounds of house are lovely, heavily sloping but no perimeter fencing so our dog was able to wander off if he chose to. There are inch long spines from a shrub somewhere in the grounds, which got caught in his coat. Easy to see and remove however. Swimming pool was too cold to use but I think there are moves afoot to replace the solar panels that have heated it in the past. Must have a car. Overall, I would happily go back and would recommend it if you are looking to be far from the madding crowd.

A little paradise in the sky

A beautiful little place with lovely grounds and the most amazing views! The drive up to the villa is not for the faint hearted but once completed well worth it. This villa is very isolated only 1 very strange restaurant within walking distance so only recomend if looking for peace quiet and isolation. Good bar and restaurant 15 min drive away in sayalonga though when you fancy venturing out. We loved it and would return.

peaceful villa with magnificent views

very spacious villa with plenty of room inside and out. Pool was ideal for us 4 adults but as there is no shallow end, perhaps not suitable for children. All facilities were of a high standard, beds very comfortable and good size, kitchen had everything we needed including coffee-maker. The access road seems a little treacherous the first time you drive up it, but is actually quite easy once it is familiar. That said, it is a steep 10 minute drive into Sayalonga so we never went there in the evening. There is a local restaurant 5 minutes walk, open in the Summer from Wed-Sun evenings - definitely worth a visit. Friendly host and excellent food/wine. Closest big supermarket in Algorobbo Costa, about 20 minute drive so quite convenient. We just stocked up on supplies and spent our time by the pool and cooking fresh fish on the BBQ. I highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday - no wifi/broadband so you get to switch off from the world, what we all needed!
