Set in an architectural prize-winning building, this modern Barcelona apartment beauty has impressive detail throughout. Ceiling-to-floor sloped windows, wood floor and other soft designer textures accentuate this spectacular space. It is cozy and welcoming but with a very hip, urban edge.

NEIGHBORHOOD AND LOCATION

The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighbourhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away. Eixample Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and it's full of shops, bars and restaurants.

In just a short stroll through these beautiful streets you will arrive right at the centre, the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Ramblas boulevard, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions. Nearby metro station: Tetuan (L2, purple line), Monumental (L2, purple line), Girona (L4, yellow line).

LIVING AREA

In the bright and spacious open lounge there is 1 sleeper sofa, a giant floor lamp, a modern cabinet, an audio-visual station and lots of light from its huge sunny windows. A dining suite consists of a table and seating for 5.

BED AND BATHROOM

The master bedroom has 1 designer queen size bed, night-tables, lamps and closet space. A second bedroom has 2 single beds, a chest of drawers and lots of natural light. In the lounge, the sofa is converted into 1 double bed.
The complete bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

KITCHEN

Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the cool kitchen is also equipped with: Refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, hob stove and oven, toaster, blender, juicer, kettle and coffee machine. The bar counter with barstools overlooks the street and is an extra space to dine and socialize.

A well presented, perfectly located apartment, with an extremely helpful owner

Having never been to Barcelona we settled on this apartment as it was located just on the edge of the main central areas all within 10 mins walk and next to three different subway stations. The apartment was in a nice enough block, and itself well presented with all amenities and most importantly very clean. The location in our view was the best thing, simply because it's in a mainly residential area 10 mins walk from the tourist areas and main sights. The subway is 2 blocks and so easy to use to get to the beach in 10 minutes, and the nou camp was easily accessible by walking to Verdagauer station. There are also a number of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Jose was a very accommodating host, and showed flexibility by meeting us at 0100 after a late flight in, which we appreciated. He gave us the run down of where to go and suggested places to eat nearby for brunch and dinner. We were there for a long weekend and for a family of four the accommodation was just right making our stay really enjoyable. I would definitely rent again next time we return.

Adequate for our needs, everthing you could need was supplied. Jose was friendly and informative.

The property was in a good position to our needs but could do with a little bit of updating, otherwise we enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Jose

Excellent Apartment

Jose was very helpful from initial email correspondence through to meeting us on our first day, showing us around the apartment and explaining the Metro, sites to see, local shops and lots of useful information about Barcelona which added to the enjoyment of our trip. The apartment is in a safe, central, residential location within easy reach of local shops, restaurants, Metro, Sagrada Familia, Catalyuna and just 5 stops from the beach. It's well equipped for a comfortable stay and Jose is available by phone should any advice be needed. Thoroughly recommended.

Family trip

This property was clean and centrally located. You can walk to many of the turist attractions from there. Restaurants and Grocery stores just around the corner. José was great to work with. He was quick to answer the phone when needed. He even came in early on our last day to help us get a cab. Highly recommend it..Gracias José

Why they chose this property

I bought this apartment in 1997, and it was my own home during 8 years. Because family was increasing i need to change to another apartment bigger, but in the same area that was the area that i like to live. I filled a bit nostalgic to leave the appartment as a my own home.
Since them i have been renting the apartment for tourist and professional reasons. As the experience has been so good for clients and for me. Later i decided to by four additonal appartments in the same building and for the same reasons.
