About this property

The Finca Son Burixo is located in the middle of countryside, only 2 km from Sant Joan (our town) and also from the motorway Ma15 (Palma – Cala Ratjada). Thanks to this central location, any part of the island can be reached within a very short time.

The house has 2 bedrooms, shower bath and a big livingroom with a new and complete kitchen. Outside the main door, there is a covered terrace with garden furniture’s where it's nice to have meals. From there, you will have a very beautiful view of the entire garden. The elevated swimming pool has two different terraces, one is on the roof of the house, where it's possible to enjoy an incredible sunset with a view of Sant Joan and the Serra de Tramuntana.

Son Burixo has a romantic and wonderful ambient for couples, families or friends who want to enjoy the holidays far from the mass turism.

Truly warm welcome from hosts. Freshly baked cake and huge bowl of fresh fruit and bottle of wine was a warming touch. The Finca is beautiful with lots of stock items - herbs and spices, good array of crockery and pans. Home from home. A thoroughly peaceful stay. It’s so peaceful with a lovely pool and rural outlook with no neighbours. Completely private. A car is essential. Bar Playa on Sa Marjal beach is a must. The food is amazing with huge portions.

A welcome return to Mallorca

Our first venture overseas since summer 2018 so we chose Mallorca as a favourite, familiar destination, however we had not visited this inland region before, and were not disappointed. The mainly rural, agricultural setting, surrounded by hills and mountains was beautiful. We were greeted on our arrival by the host who was very friendly, helpful and welcoming providing delicious cake, wine, fresh oranges and lemons. The villa sits in an idyllic setting amongst lavender fields, lemon trees and lots of colourful flowers and plants. The private, elevated swimming pool looks out over a magnificent landscape panorama and is a great size for a gentle swim. The property is really well equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. Table tennis table, barbeque, wi-fi, lots of outdoor space and a variety of seating areas from which to enjoy sun or shade as you prefer. The whole island is easily accessible from this central point, and we enjoyed several excellent trips to Palma, Andratx, Pollensa, Arta and Alcudia old town plus some of the small local towns and villages such as St Joan. Overall an excellent and enjoyable holiday at a superb property in a fabulous location. Thank you.

Lovely finca, lovely location - we had a great holiday here

This lovely finca is in a quiet rural location in the middle of the island. It is a short car ride to the village of Sant Joan which has a couple of small supermarkets and restaurants and is just a 15 minute journey from the larger town of Manacor. The finca is also close to good connecting roads to get you around and we explored a lot of the island in just one week. It was very clean and really well equipped down to the robot to clean the pool! It is surrounded by a pretty garden and has great views from the sun loungers. The family are warm, helpful and very welcoming and were more than happy for us to help ourselves to the produce from their land next door - eggs, melons, tomatoes, vegetables etc. We arrived to homemade cake and savoury tart, a bottle of wine and a huge bowl of fresh fruit. We loved our time here and would be more than happy to return when next heading out to the beautiful island of Mallorca. Highly recommended for a quiet retreat and a touch of Mallorcan rural life.

Wunderbare Auszeit im schönem Ambiente

Die Finca bietet alls was man braucht. Es gibt eine hervorragende Ausstattung für die Küche und auch alles andere an Kleinigkeiten um die Gäste glücklich zu machen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Auch der Pool und Garten sind traumhaft. Toni und sein Vater waren super nett und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder😊

Wundervolle Finca

Eine Finca, wie man sie sich im Traum vorstellt. Ruhig auf dem Land gelegen, hat man trotz der Nachbarschaft zu den Gastgebern vollkommene Ruhe und viel Platz im Garten. Wir wurden herzlich von Toni und seiner Familie mit Kuchen und Wein empfangen, durften uns aus dem Garten versorgen (zum Beispiel mit Salat, Artischocken, Spinat, Orangen und Zitronen) und ihre Tiere besuchen, was für Kinder besonders toll ist, genauso wie das Spielzeug für den Garten. Der Pool ist groß und genauso liebevoll gestaltet wie das Haus, das alles zum Leben und Kochen bietet und sehr sauber ist. Nach zwei Wochen Aufenthalt ist uns nichts negatives aufgefallen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!
