Come to spend some time in this romantic holiday house with straw thatch roof (Chaumiére) and a big old fire place in the living room. The house is 200 years old and was restored carefully. A lovely handmade staircase leads to the sleeping room with double bed (2 x 2 m). The kitchen is placed next to the living room where you can have a nice glass of red wine in front of the beautiful old fire place. Next to the house you find another little house with 3 beds, ideal for children, which belong together. Here you find peace for holidays, because there is no through-road near the house.

Great rural Bretagne

The property is amazing, access is simple. You have full privacy within the property. House is comfortable, kitchen fully functional. Great place to stay

Thatched cottage in Brittany

Our delightful cottage in Brittany was just perfect. South Finistere is off the beaten track and just what one needs for a week of peace and quiet. Even with a rainy October, our stay was spot on.

Für zwei Personen eine schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben als dreiköpfige Familie (zwei Erwachsene, ein Kleinkind) plus Hund zwei Wochen in der Unterkunft verbracht. Für uns war das Objekt leider ungeeignet. Dies hatte mehrere Gründe. Im Haupthaus lässt sich lediglich ein Fenster verdunkeln. Das Haupthaus ist im Grunde eine Einzimmer(Maisonette)wohnung, da die Schlafempore mit einem 2x2m großen Doppelbett offen zum Wohnbereich gestaltet ist und lediglich über eine Brüstung abgetrennt ist. Das zweite Haus verfügt zwar über zwei weitere Einzelbetten, jedoch gibt es hier ebenfalls keine Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit. Darüberhinaus ist der Geruch in diesem Objekt so extrem muffig, dass es aus unserer Sicht unbewohnbar ist. Hier hilft auch dauerhaftes Lüften nichts mehr, was wir tatsächlich intensiv versucht haben. Unser 2,5 jähriger Sohn hat also 2 Wochen mit uns das Bett teilen müssen, was leider nicht sonderlich erholsam war. Insbesondere der Einschlafprozess unseres Sohnes hat sich aufgrund der Helligkeit im Haus sehr mühsam gestaltet. Hier muss man jedoch positiv hervorheben, dass sich der Vermieter wirklich bemüht hat zu helfen! So dass nach ein paar Tagen das zweite Dachflächenfenster zumindest provisorisch abgedunkelt wurde, was hilfreich war. Auch hatten wir das Glück, dass uns das Wetter die Möglichkeit geboten hat fast ausschließlich die Abende im Garten ausklingen zu lassen. Wir wollten uns gar nicht ausmalen, wie und wo wir die Abende bei schlechtem Wetter verbracht hätten. Uns wäre eigentlich fast nichts anderes übrig geblieben, als uns dann ebenfalls zu unserem Sohn ins Bett zu legen. Für Paare ohne Kind ist das Objekt sicherlich empfehlenswert und die genannten Dinge würden möglicherweise gar nicht auffallen. Uns haben sie leider erheblich gestört. Weiter wären Moskitogitter vor einigen Fenstern in beiden Häusern sicherlich eine sinnvolle Investition. Die schöne idyllische Lage des Hauses eingebettet in der Natur ist halt Lebensraum von diversen Insekten, die doch sehr gerne den Weg ins Haus finden 🙂.

Ménage pas fait, odeurs de renfermé, tres cher pour l’endroit.

Nous sommes arrivés dans une maison sale, le frigo était inutilisable car il avait givré, il a fallu le dégivrer, le sol était noir de saleté, la sdb et wc pas nettoyé. Et surtout une odeur de renfermé insupportable, c’est très dommage car cette maison est magnifique.
