Had a wonderful stay here with family and friends, beautiful pool area.

Fantastic place to have a family holiday

What a wonderful property. We were the first English group to stay at the property - and hopefully we won't be the last. A group of 15 - 8 adults and 7 children, there was room for everyone and more. Great facilities that were all the better for having a history within the area. The pool is terrific and so much bigger than what you would normally get in a villa rental. The volleyball courts are great for those who want to be energetic in the boring Portuguese summer sun! Special mention must also go to Americo, the house keeper. A source of local knowledge an help. Only too happy to sort any problems (ours were small and down to user error and not the villa!). Closer enough to Faro not to require a long drive, but secluded and quiet. All in all a great place to have a holiday.

Tolle Unterkunft für Beachvolleyballfans!

Tolle Beachanlage und sehr gute Ausstattung des Hauses. Waren mit 14 Leuten + Kleinkind dort und es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt :) Sehr zu empfehlen für Beachvolleyballbegeisterte

Amazing house for beach-volleyball players

We (12 beach-volleyball fanatics plus one beach-volleyball fanatic 1 1/2 year old) had an amazing 7 days in the castelo. It was so simple to have a wonderful time in this house, as the whole location had everything we needed and more. We'll come back 100% next year! Special thanks to Americo for taking care and being responsive every time we needed him!

Castelo Sonho unites size and everyday activities without losing its Portuguese charms. If you are travelling with large groups with children or as a sport group, you will find the Castelo a perfect place to enjoy your holiday together. The house is solidly built and furnished practically - we take a pass on gratuitous pomp. The outer area with a pool, garden, and beach volleyball courts is perfect for everyone to simply let their mind wander.
