Very peaceful

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I are getting ready to pack up, reluctantly, to go home. We have enjoyed our first trip to Rangeley Lake. The mountains, lakes and foliage are breathtaking. The cabin is perfect. Cozy, quiet, and peaceful. I'm sitting on the porch having breakfast, watching a light rain on the lake. We have seen beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We also experienced one rainstorm so heavy that the clouds completely blocked the view across the lake, and the waves were tumultuous like the ocean. It's the first time I've ever set my alarm while on vacation in order to watch the day begin. We could easily stay until the first snowfall, or longer. All I'd need would be for someone to ski down the hill with some groceries and library books once in a while. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Great spot right on the lake

  • 5 of 5

This is the 2nd of David’s 3 Rangeley cabins we stayed at. They are great cabins. They look to have been built in the 40s or 50s and they are fantastic authentic Maine log cabins with all the modern conveniences. Very well maintained and clean as can be.

This little red cabin is the perfect spot. We will be back for sure.

Great spot great area lots of places to hike and a great place to relax

  • 4 of 5

Great place to stay. The cottage is steps away from the water where you can swim, sit on the dock, or have a fire in the fire pit. The owner gets back to you quickly and answers all your questions. I would recommend staying for couples or if you have one child.

Peaceful and well stocked site right on the water!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our four nights at this little cabin. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for campfires and grilling. David was immediately responsive to a phone call when we weren't sure where to find another propane tank for the grill. The enclosed porch was lovely to wait out any rain. We brought kayaks and were able to launch them very easily from the gravel beach right in front of the cabin. This was my first visit to Rangeley -- I had a wonderful vacation, and I'm sure I'll be back!

My wife and I loved it!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I loved our rustic cottage! The loons at night, beautiful sunsets, campfires at night and falling asleep with the small rolling waves at night made for a relaxing, much needed renewal! We would rent this cabin again!
