Lovely views. Close to the town and the hiking areas. This place definitely has what I was looking for. A much enjoyable and relaxation week away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Looking forward to planning more trips back to this cabin!

Pearl Cottage, Rangeley Lake, Maine

Absolutely loved the location, the cabin and the atmosphere 💕?. Saw a bald eagle in flight and a baby bald eagle perched at the top of a tree. Three deer allowed us awesome pictures. The lake is the cleanest & clearest lake. Truly enjoyed the calmness and peaceful surroundings! The cabin is wonderful. All your needs are met and nothing is forgotten!

Piece of Paradise

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place tucked away unassumingly on the shores of a beautiful Maine lake. Dave Meardon ,the owner , happened to be there and he was delightful and accommodating and the place was spotless and had more amenities than we ever expected and detailed information about the cottage and area. Would love to stay there again in a minute!

Beautiful, quintessential New England escape.

We had a fantastic weekend here! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to do a lot of cooking, which was extremely useful. We ate breakfast on the dock or the back deck every morning to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. The lake view was amazing, and the location near to town was convenient. We would love to head back again.

The Rangeley Lakes Region in Western Maine has been a tourist destination for well over a century. The area boasts an abundance of lakes, streams, mountains and forests which offer a host of outdoor activities. The town of Rangeley, incorporated in 1855, represents small town atmosphere at its finest, with a wonderful library and waterfront park, marina, antique, gift, and ice cream shops, movie theater, historical society, IGA, and over a dozen restaurants from casual to fine dining.

The Appalacian trail traverses the 3-4,000 foot mountains that surround Rangeley and Mooselookmeguntic lakes. Hiking trails abound. Wildlife sitings from moose, loons, deer and fox are common. The town hosts a variety of summer activities, including a concert series and a blueberry festival. Moose sightings are common along route 16 from Rangeley to Stratton, and the cry of the loon can be heard most nights.
