POOL in luxury home in Popular South Beach. 1/2 block to all shopping, restaurants and bars.

Upscale furniture throughout. NEW 2023, FLOORS AND SLIDER DOORS OUT TO TOP DECK. Granite surfaces.

THERE ARE 3 BEDROOMS ON THE MIDDLE FLOOR - ALL WITH ENSUITE BATHROOMS. (TWO of those rooms are KING beds) The 3d bedroom on the middle Floor is two sets of bunk beds.
TWO BEDROOMS UPSTAIRS OFF KITCHEN - SHARE UPSTAIRS BATHROOM. One bedroom is a queen bed with a bunk bed set for small children., The other bedroom has a king bed with a bunk bed set for Children.

Master Bedroom #1: KING 'CAPTAINS ROOM' - sleeps 4 (2 in King Bed) and (2 on full size futon) with large ensuite bathroom and private deck attached.
Master Bedroom #2 KING 'SAILORS ROOM' - sleeps 2 IN KING BED, plus single futon at foot of bed. Plus external cots or mats.
Grandma's Room upstairs: Just off elevator QUEEN PLUS TWIN Bunks sleeps 4

Marble Floors in Entry. New in 2023 LVP floors throughout all living areas except porch room. Kitchen has double convection ovens, double trash cans. Master Bath has dual vessel sinks. THREE COVERED PORCHES (These are often referred to in glowing terms in our reviews) 5th bedroom off Kitchen is surrounded by Windows and catches ocean breezes. Also has private A/C and Heat.
Kitchen and Living area have vaulted ceilings and are surrounded by Windows - giving the upstairs living area of this home, a New York Loft feel. Located at the end of the island that is only 1/2 mile wide from Ocean to back river. Walk to Ocean for sunrise and back river for sunset. Walk 2 minute to shopping, dining, beach. Walk to Library and IGA and Deli! This home has 2 CENTRAL A/C's and two window A/C's (window ac's are off upstairs rooms that have lots of windows.)

This home was built new in 2008. Updated in 2023. Beautiful upscale pool and NEW 6 person Hot tub. All this on Quiet Street, 1 street off Butler.

Tybee Island Joy
The owners aptly named their place Tybee Island Joy and ensure you’ll have truly joyful time staying here. It’s a block or two walk to restaurants and shops on the south end as well as the pier. We rented golf carts and had a great time exploring g most of the island. Lovely, welcoming and attentive hosts and home. Highly recommend!

Excellent house, walking distance to beach and restaurants on lovely Tybee Island
From start to finish our experience with Marsha and this property were amazing. Marsha, the owner, was incredibly responsive and kind from our first to our last communication - you can tell from the start the pride she takes in her rental property and in ensuring guests have a great stay. The house is great for large family or friend gatherings with plenty of space for everyone - including multiple sets of bunk beds (which the kids loved). The decor was perfect - welcoming and comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a week at the beach (fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner and soap, towels, etc.) In addition, had everything we needed for the beach - towels, toys, wagons, umbrella, etc. Location was FABULOUS - 5 minute walk to the beach and pier and less to multiple restaurants, bars, ice cream, shops, etc. and in off-season still only an 8 minute drive to the other side of the island which had many great restaurant options as well. If you’ve never been to Tybee - would highly recommend. Offers so much to do (a little something for everyone) both history and the beach. I’d happily go back and rent with Marsha again!

Great family vacation home. Was perfect for our family. Plenty of room. Pool and hot tub was a bonus! Awesome kitchen! Check in and out was easy. Close to everything. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this home. Our host was great.

Superb location
The location couldn't be better! Within 5 minutes, we could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, and the local grocery store is a 2 minute drive down the road. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, and for our group of 13 who cooked many meals there, we appreciated that! The pool is hard to see in the listing photos, and smaller than we expected when we saw in person but was serviced during our stay, which was nice. Something to thing to keep in mind is there is no frig or bathroom on the ground level. The closest bathrooms are on the 2nd floor and all within bedrooms- so if you are swimming and need to use bathroom, the closest is a floor up and within one of the bedrooms. To access the kitchen/frig is 2 floors up from pool. We found ourselves keeping water in a cooler at the pool to avoid going drying off and going up and down the stairs for drinks so often. Marsha was by far, the BEST host I have ever worked with in dozens of vacation rentals we've booked with over the years! So responsive and made the whole process so easy- many thanks to Marsha!

The location is fantastic!
This was the perfect home for our family of 10! Ages 74-15. Plenty of room, comfy beds, nice decks, pool area to chill at. The owner Marsha was so easy to reach! We had a few minor issues that were resolved immediately!! Nothing major. The house was well stocked with anything you could need. Plenty of beach chairs, 3 umbrellas, volleyballs, floats, 3 beach wagons. Plenty of bath towels, kitchen items. This house had it all! The location was the best part! Can walk to the most popular spots. We did have 2 golf karts which I'd recommended so you can visit the entire island and with karts you avoid the crazy parking fees. Thank you Marsha for the lovely home:)

Why they chose this property

Tom and I met on the West Coast and always wanted a home near the beach, but were unable to pay LA prices. And hated LA traffic. When Tom took a job here in Savannah, we discovered Tybee Island and realized it was just 19 minutes from Downtown Savannah, and we loved the laid back Artsy, non-resort kind of feel. So, we looked for three years for the perfect piece of property - well, the perfect piece in our price range and in the location we wanted. We finally ended up buying a woman's back yard. We had the yard divided into a legal lot. And on that we built the dream: Tybee Island Joy
We are cllose to the shops, yet away from the crowds. Within walking distance to all the eating places, and especially close to The Breakfast Club! This lot, seemed to have it all, Location, Location, Location, plus, it was the only lot we could find that didn't look into someone elses house - our lot looks onto a 60 foot tall live Oak tree. And OK, I confess, it was the only lot for sale on the whole darn street. So we bought it.

What makes this property unique

The large spacious upstairs. The pool. The double convection ovens. The Master Suite that has three seperate sections and a private deck. The six burner cooktop with the pop up vent. The loft feel with tons of windows and natural light. The THREE large decks - two off each floor. The Air conditioned and insulated sleeping porch, that feels like a treehouse - on the top deck! Location, Location, Location.
