Beautifully designed and appointed villa with fantastic views.

Met by the owner who was delightful. She had kindly organised some groceries for us as requested. The property was scrupulously clean and beautifully designed and appointed. The beds are very comfortable and an abundance of towels is provided. The villa was very warm because of underfloor heating throughout. The gardens are lovely. This is a very private location with fantastic views. A car is essential.

Beautiful views in peace and quiet

We did not see the beauty of our destination on arrival, as we were late due to a delayed flight. It was already dark (and quite foggy) but Anna was waiting for us, directing us to the property. She had very kindly shopped in advance for us as we arrived on a Sunday. This villa is exceptional, from the underfloor heating to the many opening glass doors which frame the view. Our holiday was mainly a stargazing trip (telescope hire is available but book well in advance to secure your choice of aperture, and take special care with a map and directions to collect it!). The roads are challenging (nervous drivers beware - don't look down, and be aware that as the island is volcanic rockfalls are fairly frequent) but the views are amazing. Special thanks must go to the Ayuntamiento staff in Tijarafe - in spite of none of us speaking the same language the lovely man in the office printed out a map and drew directions for us. Another special mention for Bar Garome - when you turn the corner past it to get to the villa it looks a bit uninviting, but a walk up to it in the evening is worth it. They serve the locally produced wine, which is beautiful. At the time of our visit, this is also one of the cleanest bars we have ever entered. All in all, although La Palma is not a typical holiday destination, and shouldn't be judged as such, we found the local people to be helpful and obliging, the scenery fantastic - including the black sand at Tazacorte.

Hier stimmt alles : Lage & Blick (,einschließlich herrlichen Sonnenuntergängen), hochwertige und geschmackvolle Ausstattung (u.a. perfekt bestückte Küche), herzliche Begrüßung usw. ABSOLUT empfehlenswert. !!!

Tolles Haus, Lage und Sternenhimmel

Das Haus ist toll, geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet, zwei sehr schöne Bäder mit jede Menge Handtücher und die Betten haben gute Matratzen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei klarer Sicht kann man einen tollen Sternenhimmel sehen! Es ist schade, dass 2 Wermutstropfen die Gesamtbewertung (nur 4 Sterne) etwas trüben: Für die Sommerzeit wäre es sinnvoll, die großen Fenster im Wohnzimmer vor der Sonne schützen zu können. (ggf. durch eine weitere Markise davor). Der Raum heizt sich sehr auf und die Fußbodenfliesen geben auch in der Nacht noch Wärme ab, die Räume lassen sich schwer durchlüften/abkühlen. Es ist ratsam, die Planken der Terrasse nicht barfuß zu betreten, da man sich schnell Splitter in die Fußsohlen einziehen kann.

Es war einfach nur herrlich

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem tipptopp gepflegten und sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus in sehr ruhiger Lage sehr genossen. Der Ausblick über das Meer war grandios und wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen.
