Casa Acquamarina

... Per chi ama il mare A charming, just 20 meters from the sea located, exclusive duplex apartment (house-in-house-living concept) with stunning 37 sqm panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. Completely designed in a Mediterranean style, matched the color device and maintained with great attention to detail.

Only about 20 m from the sea lies this completely renovated, exclusive duplex apartment. Casa Acqua Marina - no name would better describe the successful synthesis of rock and sea: After a restored antique front door and made by an artist wrought iron, white lattice door is reached by a stone (warm tone) occupied upstairs to the. 1 Floor.

On the landing you radiate a fabricated in Vietri sul Mare / Amalfi Coast "Rosone" counter. He comes from the famous and traditional company Vietri Antico and is an extremely tasteful hand-painted ceramic insert in the floor, which acts as a designer foulard and the sea colors reflected. Through the front door - all doors inside are decorated in white wood and custom made - you enter the living room leading to a large balcony with fantastic sea views.

About an arch, turn left into (2) Bedroom, which has a sofa bed and thus rather acts as a residential rest room. If you occasionally use the food not the terrace, dishes also you can here (table and chairs available). Seen from the entrance on the right is the bedroom with a fancy white iron bed that Navy node has, in true Stile Mediterraneo. All three rooms enjoy magnificent sea views, the floors are all here with
aquamarine Vietri Antico-flow equipped. The decor is extremely tasteful and very characteristic: sea colored cushions on white wicker furniture.

Throughout the duplex apartment, you find beautifully shaped wall lamps made of stone, another memorandum of arte mediterranea. The elegant bathroom is white and has attractive ceramic inserts (greche) with sea motifs. Gefließter sink table (as you often find him in good hotels), crystal compartments as storage, crescent-shaped shower (90x90 cm!), Laundry basket and washing machine, divided off by a sliding door white toilet, bidet and window. Everything is well maintained in detail!

In the second Floor are the pantry / storage room and the kitchen. Floor and work surface are covered with local stone. It is well equipped, has a large fridge freezer, gas cooker. The drawers etc. are of course made of wood and joinery manufactured.

From up here you can reach through a wrought iron gate, another door / glass door to approximately 35 square meter panoramic terrace (ground also in local stone), which offers a magnificent and unrestricted sea view. You hear the sound of the sea. An Italian would say una sensazione come su una nature in mezzo al mare. (In good weather you can even see the lighthouse of the spa town of Torre Canne). And the refreshing Greek blue shutters of the apartment can recall the typical Mediterranean maisons greques ...

Marina di Ostuni has, ie the Blue Flag obtained for decades the Blue Flag for excellent seawater quality. In addition, in recent years, the '5 sail' (maximum rating) by Legambiente - one in Italy rather kristisch settled environmental organization.
Along this coastline are lined in front of Ostuni different resorts. The center, at least geographically depicts the picturesque ancient fishing port of Villanova. Here there are bars where you can have breakfast, bakeries, fish restaurants, pizzerias, etc. Although one should not imagine Villanova as sophisticated, so you can already the one and the other yacht seen in the summer months, because the clear sea also attracts many wealthy Italians and Europeans. In August there is Holiday mode.

The coast is very varied here. If there is elongated in the northern area of Marina di Ostuni beaches (Pilone, Rosa Marina), so the subsequent stretch of coast in the south (Lido Fontanelle, Costa Merlata) is but increasingly characterized by bays. Sandy beach coves take turns with rocks. Bizzarre rock formations, ancient lighthouses, beaches fringed with fragrant Mediterranean vegetation characterize the landscape. Not far from Ostuni, in Brindisi, is the Marine National Park Torre Guaceto.

Could you be inspired to paint a picture of südapulischen town of Ostuni, you really need a few colors: the green for endless centuries-old olive groves stretching down to the sea and flank the coast, the blue in various shades of the azure sea that looks like a blue carpet merges into the sky on the horizon. Brilliant white contrast are the whitewashed houses in the Moorish-style old town of Ostuni, with its labyrinthine alleyways and staircases. Pride and as a Middle Eastern "Kasbah" the White City stands on hill 300 meters up in the sunlight. The old town Ostuni is also officially a city of art in Italy. Individual accents in the picture put purple and purple splashes of color to the lush bougainvillea growing, peeping out from the walls and beautify the gardens.
Along the fields everywhere no longer ending muri a secco, vonApulien the typical dry stone walls. The hues of the stones range from white, sandy, mottled reddish terra cotta to anthracite, almost black when they are fading from the decades of weathering. The most beautiful are the sand-colored, reddish-brown traversed reminiscent of beautiful flowers planted with terracotta vases. It's a lovely sound, radiates warmth and we associate with Mediterranean culture and way of life.

The rural charm of Puglia is characterized by shady olive trees, wild-growing prickly pear, red tomato fields and vineyards, alternating with picturesque villages and of course. By the gracious hospitality of its inhabitants Heavy bearing fig trees just waiting to be picked. Fragrant lemon, orange and mandarin trees blend harmoniously into the Mediterranean, sun-drenched paradise. Pure nature!

In the background you will discover scattered Trulli, immersed in the green hills of Ostuni, at the foot of the Murge. They are an integral part of the cultural landscape of Puglia, the trulli, archaic white round houses that taper conically to the top. The former Bauernhäuschen have here in the idyllic valley of Itria (Itria Valley) their homeland, an area that extends from Ostuni on Cisternino and Martina Franca Locorotondo and finally up to Alberobello. The maximum concentration of Trulli can be found right here in the lovely, much-visited town of Alberobello, whose old town is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
If the unique and characteristic Trulli may remember dwarfs house so symbolize the Apulian masserie (ital .: masserie) almost veritable fairytale castles. They are noble ancient manors of wildromantischem charm surrounded by centuries-old olive groves.

If the northwestern Piedmont advertises the Slow Food way of life, then the southeastern Apulia epitomizes and thus also the figurehead for the typical Mediterranean cuisine. Typical Apulian pasta specialties include orecchiette (dt. Ears) and the cavatelli. La Puglia but also the giant among the Italian wine producer (Primitivo di Puglia, Salice Salentino, Negroamaro, etc.). Olive oils and wines are popular Urlaubssouvernirs. To purchase you can visit one Enoteca which has usually over a wide range or a cantina directly in the cities either. The proud 800 kilometers that line Puglia fantastic coastline, are equally to fishing and thus for fantastic dishes from the seafood cuisine. Whether zuppa di pesce, fresh calamari salad creations with exquisite pasta shells or crabmeat, au gratin cozze (mussels) or grilled Mediterranean fish with herb sauce, there's something for every taste. Puglia is simply the mecca of Mediterranean cuisine.
