Spacious south-facing luxury rental apartment close to beach & Marbella

Our beautifully situated, first-line (the best location in the complex!), south-facing, extremely spacious (200 m²) and light corner-apartment, 'Madrono', has free internet access, satellite television, 3 terraces, with sun-loungers and dining table, overlooking the extensive sub-tropical gardens and main pool (always check the actual view of any apartment here in El Presidente!); close direct access to our own sandy beach, children's playground and beach bar/restaurants; five pools, 1 heated throughout the winter; free tennis and padel courts, basketball court and football pitch, free parking. Just a short walking distance to shops, including a new ALDI supermarket, and numerous excellent restaurants; close to 30+ golf courses, many family activities and the Puerto Banus nightlife, for an ideal combination of peaceful relaxation and family leisure in one of the best complexes close to Marbella. It has been our second home and therefore benefits from immaculate decorations and furnishings, with all the comforts of 'home' available to our guests.

The complex has 24hr monitored security and lifeguards during the high season.

There are at least 20 golf courses in the surrounding area, many of which are of an extremely good standard. Our complex also has two golf practice areas.

There are four tennis courts, two padel tennis courts, a basketball court and a football pitch freely available to our guests.

Skiing is possible in the Sierra Nevada near to Granada which is about a two hour drive away.

Also in the surrounding area there are many family oriented activities available including adventure, wild-life and water parks, sea-life centres, dolphinaria and water sports centres.

Exploring the local area: Marbella is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. As well as the nearby coastal towns of Puerto Banus, Mijas, San Pedro and Estepona, it is well worth venturing inland to visit the beautiful white-walled towns of Benahavis and Casares. Slightly further afield is Malaga which should not be overlooked as its pedestrianised old quarter has a labyrinth of streets and squares which are great fun to explore, as well as being a very good place to buy shoes at remarkable prices. Also within easy travelling distance are the wonderful cities of Granada, Seville and Cordoba, and of course just along the coast is the island of Gibraltar with its apes, caves and tax-free shopping.

Taxi Transfer and Car Hire:

Please let us know if we can help to arrange your hire car as we use a very good and reasonably priced company that has a collection point just outside of the terminal building at Malaga airport where you will be personally met (therefore avoiding the lengthy queues inside the terminal at the car rental desks and you also only pay for the fuel that you use!).

We can also arrange your taxi transfers to and from MALAGA airport with our wonderful local driver who speaks english and charges significantly less than that at the airport.

Tennis Coaching:

We are now able to offer professional on-site tennis coaching with an extremely good and fully qualified LTA coach. Our complex's four tennis and two padel-tennis courts have recently been refurbished to a high standard and are freely available to our guests. Please contact us for more details.

El Presidente "Kent" Apartment

Our recent most enjoyable holiday commenced with a warm welcome by Peter and Sylvia.

The apartment (Kent) was 1st class in every respect and totally in line with the website description.

We appreciated the recommendation of the many eating places, all of which were new to us, and we were never disappointed.

Peter's introduction to the car hire company was also a great success.Good vehicle and price, plus VIP service.

There is no hesitation in recommending the El Presidente apartments to both family and friends.

No doubt we will be in touch again for future golfing holidays.

Wonderful, wonderful time!

My wife, adult daughter and her 1.5 year old and I spent 11 nights in this wonderful location. Parking within a short walk of the condo. Just what we were hoping for, spacious, comfortable and old-style luxury. Three balconies, very comfortable beds and pool in front and in the back. And a short walk to the beach. The bathrooms were great (would like to have that shower at my house).

We were also wonderfully located between many good markets and tourist sights. A trip up to Ronda was worth the time. And don't miss the restaurant just down by the beach.

Also, the little grocery store, near by, was very handy. And we went to the Robin Hood Pub twice and really enjoyed it.

Peter and Sylvia are great. And off season prices were very reasonable.

Thank you for a lovely stay and just to say how much we loved El Presidente, the facilities, beautiful gardens and of course the "Madrono" apartament! There was everything we could have wished for - the apartment was very well equipped, with extremely comfortable beds! Our week went just far too quickly!

Had a week at the end of May 2009 with my daughters. Could not have been better located, a beautiful apartment, brilliantly kitted out, quiet, very pretty inside and outside. Peter & Sylvia very informative, lovely people. The pool could not have been closer (more pools on site) but our one was probably the quietest due to deeper water so not so child-friendly for the very young ones (although the nearby main pool is!), but for us that was perfect, it was also incredibly clean. Very secure, lovely gardens all over, easy parking. Quick access to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona & Airport. Excellent supermarket, restaurants everywhere. Would definitely go back.

Very impressed with the apartment, very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. We all loved the fact that we could walk straight to the many lovely pools, I can honestly say that El Presidente is definitely one of the better urbanisations in Marbella.(I have been to lots) The lay out is great, location was fantastic, 5 minute walk to the beach and only a short drive to the world famous Puerto Banus. None of us wanted to leave and can't wait to our next trip out. Thumbs up to Peter and Sylvia they couldn't be more helpful. Book now you won't regret it.

Kent Appartment : The perfect holiday

We have just returned to a very rainy Ireland having spent 2 heavenly weeks at Peter and Sylvias ''Kent'' appartment. It was absolutely spotlessly clean and furnished very well (the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!!), with a very well equiped kitchen. The private garden was perfect for our 2 small children who also made the most of the super clean swimming pools.The gardens and pool areas were maintained to a very high standard. A perfect family appt. for those who want fun for the children yet a very quiet complex for those , like us, who detest noisy complexes.A must is a trip to Benahavis and its many restaurants to sample the local and delicious cuisine and for the kids it has the prettiest playground I have ever seen, also the 2 playgrounds beside the appt. were so handy. Robertos beach bar is perfect for a long lazy lunch. Our best holiday to date.Thanks to Peter and Sylvia for the ideal holiday.

El Presidente, where we also live, is a wonderful beach-side complex close to Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona and is generally regarded as one of the best complexes on the coast.

We are ideally located away from the turmoil of Puerto Banus and yet it is just an easy five-minute drive along the coast road that separates us. Indeed it would be impossible to find a more spacious and luxurious complex at this price anywhere along the coast and certainly not in Puerto Banus or Marbella where they are much more compactly built.

We are also ideally placed to access the numerous nearby leisure and sporting facilities and to visit the nearby coastal towns of Marbella, San Pedro and Estepona and the inland towns of Ronda, Casares & Benahavis (just ten minutes away and with excellent restaurants) as well as the wonderful cities of Granada, Seville & Cordoba.

Within a short walking distance from the apartment is the beach as well as shops (including a newly opened ALDI supermarket), bars, banks and many excellent restaurants & bars.

Other Activities: Tennis coaching is available from an experienced and fully qualified LTA coach.

Golf: As well as having our own on-site golf practice areas, we are just five minutes from the following clubs: El Paraiso, Guadalmina, Atalaya and Flamingoes Golf; ten minutes from Marbella Club, Monte Mayor, La Dama de Noche, Las Brisas, Aloha, Los Naranjos, La Quinta and Estepona; and thirty minutes from Valderama and San Roque. Ski: Skiing in Sierra Nevada, close to Granada, is about a two hour drive from us.

  • Our wonderful 200 m² marble floored apartment is furnished and decorated to a very high standard throughout creating a luxurious, cosy and homely atmosphere. It has a very spacious and comfortable lounge-diner, with 2 sofas, 6-seater dining-table, fireplace, 42' LCD satellite television, video, DVD and mini Hi-Fi. It opens via french-windows onto a large south-facing balcony with 2 loungers and 6-seater dining-table that overlooks the beautiful and extensive gardens and main swimming pool. The en-suite master-bedroom has a new and very comfortable super king-size bed, a 32' LCD television, balcony and lovely views. The 2nd-bedroom has three new and very comfortable single beds, a 32' TV, an adjacent bathroom and also a balcony with views of the rear swimming pool and gardens. The large and very new kitchen is extremely well-equipped and fully-fitted. Our apartment's corner location enables each room to have natural daylight and ventilation. Cot and baby facilities are freely available.
