Perfect Portofino Villa for our 20th Anniversary!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Niasca/Portofino. The villa is located perfectly to enjoy all the area has to offer, while still allowing us to relax away from the busy towns at the end of the day. While the road is busy at times, you don't hear it from the villa. The view is outstanding and everyone we met during check-in and check-out were wonderful. Everything we needed for the week was provided and the recommendations for dining, groceries, places to visit in the area were very well received. A must is a drive to Recco for focaccia! What a treat to have been there!

Niasca Villa

  • 4 of 5

Wonderful place to spend in the late Spring or early summer. It would be too warm in the villa during the warm months. The humidity within the villa was something that needs to be addressed by using fans to move the air instead of have to open all the windows to get circulation. The dehumidifiers could not keep up with the windows open.

Owner's Response: Thank you John, the last week end was wonderful weather: sunny but fresch! the position of Niasca, in a little valley near the sea, allows to have this confortable microclimate in the warmest days of July too; all our guests appreciate the natural "air condition" in the flat. The dehumidifiers, if needed, work vary well with close windows.

Beautiful home with amazing views

  • 5 of 5

My family absolutely adored this special home. The location is perfect. We loved walking into Portofino on the hiking trail. It's about a 20 minute walk (3 minute drive) into the beautiful little seaside town.

The views of the home are stunning. The water is so calming and beautiful to look at. Our boys loved going down to the beach to play by the water. And we rented Kayak's from Luca which was lots of fun.

This was a perfect place to stay with our family of 4 (There was plenty of room for more people as well:) We really enjoyed the owners too. They were great to us and went above and beyond by mailing us something we left at the house. Thank you Maria we look forward to experiencing Niasca again soon.

Beautiful area, beautiful house!

  • 5 of 5

Gorgeouse and spacious house, literally on the beach. Nothing better than waking up and having breakfast on the little balcony with the sea under!

The space is lovely, with a wide living room full of light and a big kitchen. The description 100% met the reality and a couple days were absolutely not enough in there.

Wish I could find a way to go back there soon!

ps. even tho the house is under a road, it wasn't noisy at all. everything was very peaceful

Unique location, comfortable and stylish

  • 5 of 5

Having been a guest in Niasca as a child I have kept a bright and happy memory of that holiday to this day. With my husband we wished to renew the experience of an holiday in Portofino. Looking for accomodation we found out that Niasca could be rented! The old family home that I remebered has been arranged in a wide, well fitted apartment, bright with sunshine in the morning and in a fresh shade in the aftenoon. We enjoyed Silvana help in housekeeping few times and this made our stay more comfortable.
