Utterly blissful tranquility

  • 5 of 5

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this delightful cottage. Siting above the river Dee, you can go to sleep listening to the water rushing by in the background. Everything you could need in terms of very comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, very efficient and cosy log burning stove in the pretty sitting room. Delightfully decorated throughout and incredibly helpful owner. We were able to sit outside for both breakfast and evening drinks and the views are breath taking. A real escape from it all and yet within very easy reach of places to visit, walk and eat. Will definitely be going back and cannot recommend highly enough to anyone else. Thanks to Helen for a fabulous stay.

Stylish, with original features and yet incredibly warm and cosy, all next to the excitement of the River Dee rushing by. Exhilarating! Helen made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very secure. We wish to return.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time away at Riverside cottage. We went with our two friends, their two young children and our two dogs. The cottage was the perfect size for us. Beautiful views of farming fields and rolling hills. Situated a 5/10 minute drive from the town centre which was perfect for us. The cottage is also easy to get too considering it’s location. There is a pub literally one minute walk away which is friendly and serves decent food.

Helen (the owner) was there to meet us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends and will be looking at booking another stay soon. Thanks for a lovely stay.
