Wonderful apartment
We had a wonderful time at the apartment, amazing location, spotlessly clean, all home comforts. We would recommend it without hesitation and will return again.

Highly recommended!
A bright, spacious apartment with fabulous views overlooking the bay of Naples. Perfectly located for the beach, town centre and train station. Communication prior to our stay was excellent and Maria met us at the train station on our arrival (a very welcome surprise) pointing out where the supermarket and restaurants were before taking us to the apartment. Lots of helpful information provided at check-in and Maria and Candida also arranged our return transfer and for our luggage to be securely stored on the day of our departure given that we had an evening flight. We did have a bit of an issue with the electric supply continually tripping but this was easily rectified and didn't impact upon our overall enjoyment. We loved Piano and the apartment and would recommend both.

Beautiful apartment; wonderful location
We enjoyed this beautiful apartment immensely. The entire apartment has lots of natural light and gorgeous views. The kitchen was so pretty that we cooked one evening and we normally don’t cook. We could have spent our entire few days just sitting in the balcony and enjoying the views. Instead, we visited the nearby beaches making use of the elevator sometimes and other Times enjoying the walk along the road full of switch-backs. It was an easy walk to the train station and two quick stops to get to downtown Sorrento. We also enjoyed a lovely tour of the Amalfi Coast with Francesco who also provided door-to-door taxi service when needed. A fabulous experience. Thank you to all.

Lovely bright apartment with stunning views of the Bay of Naples
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night early spring break in this comfortable and well equipped apartment. Manager Maria-Grazia couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. There were a couple of small problems as we were the first guests of the season but she dealt with them swiftly and efficiently. The aim of the trip was to see the Roman sites at Pompeii and Herculaneum, and it was a perfect time of year to go, with bright sunshine and few crowds. Both sites are easy to reach on the Circumvesuviana railway which runs between Naples and Sorrento - the station at Piano is around 10 minutes walk away, and Sorrento is only two stops in the other direction, The only downside to visiting so early (first week of March) was that many restaurants hadn't yet opened for the season, although we would recommend pizzas from Ci vediamo di Mario, at Via Madonna di Roselle (friendly welcome, excellent aubergine pizza!) and we had a lovely meal at l'Antica Cantina just round the corner. In Sorrento, we had a memorable Sunday lunch in the huge conservatory at o Parruchiano, surrounded by Italian families celebrating Carnevale. I imagine, at the height of the season, the apartment would be a perfect escape from the crowds - and the sunset view from the balcony, prosecco in hand, was stunning, even on a chilly evening! Thank you Candida and Maria Grazia.

Immaculate with a stunning view
We loved our stay at Piano Di Sorrento. I booked this property mainly due to the fresh, tasteful decor and the fact it had two bathrooms - essential with two teenagers! The view really is lovely from the balcony and we liked the buzz of the small street below. Candida, as previously mentioned, was extremely helpful and responds quickly to any query; nothing was too much trouble-which was very reassuring. The accomodation had plenty of towels for the week, extra pillows if needed and other basic essentials. We ensured that we spent time in Piano and visited the volcanic beach three times during our stay (there are a number of solariums that you pay for). Here you can hire pedalos as well as kayaks and we particular enjoyed laying on a lilo in the sea overlooking Vesuvius! To the left of the property there is a place called Villa Fondi gardens which is beautiful as well as peaceful with wonderful views ( we saw a wedding there) and to the right was a small, very reasonably priced bar that overlooks the bay- perfect after a day at the beach and for playing cards watching the sun go down. Although restaurants are not in abundance there are enough to choose from and Sorrento and nearby towns Meta and S’Agnello are accessible via the train and bus ( train is 5 mins travel time to Sorrento). However if you wish to use the train in the evening then you must purchase your tickets earlier in the day as the ticket office closes early evening and late trains when returning to Piano are only after 9.30 at the weekends. We booked an excursion to Capri and Vesuvius/ Pompeii online before we arrived, which we are pleased we did as this is time consuming if queuing at Sorrento tourist centre. As for visiting further along the Amalfi Coast we purchased our SITA bus tickets at Sorrento ( right outside the entrance to the station). Again these must be purchased before you travel unlike the local bus service. All in all we throughly enjoyed our trip and particularly loved returning to the non touristy area of Piano Di Sorrento and our very cool ( excellent air conditioning) spacious apartment. We won’t forget it.
