Sea Fern is located just six minutes walk from two beaches at Welches on the outskirts of Oistins and a mere 15 minutes walk to the wonderful Miami/Enterprise beach. Ideally situated in the quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac of Hythe Gardens, it is only 10 minutes walk to Oistin's shopping area and Fish Market, famous for its "Friday night fish fry". A short 5 minutes by car/bus is St.Lawrence gap, home to some of Barbados' best entertainment nightclubs and restaurants. Making for an enjoyable and unforgettable Barbados visit.

The house has splendid sea views from most rooms and air conditioning in all bedrooms. Floor standing fans distribute cool air throughout the living and dining areas. Leading from the living and dining rooms is a spacious balcony with stunning sea views. This is furnished with seating and table, providing excellent comfort for viewing and filming the spectacular sunsets while enjoying a cocktail. Three double and one twin bedroom, make the house ideal for families or groups of friends. There is plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

So I was supposed to write this about two years ago but between life and having a child it never happened.... Being that I come to Barbados at least once a year this was the first time that I had ever stayed in a place that was not my families home. And I have to say I loved it... Between that airiness of the house to the fact that it was close enough that I can get in a van and be at my fams house in 10 mins it was perfect. Not to mention that all the business was handled with ease!! I recommend this place alllll the time to folks looking to rent a house in BIM... Thanks again for opening your beautiful home to me and my family!!!

Great stay in the BIM

I love the open space of the house and the amenities provided. The front deck was the highlight when the sun would set. Plenty of space for 8 people to sleep comfortable.

Also easy acces to the main road to catch the bus or taxi vans.

Perfect in every way

We could not have been happier with our stay at SeaFern, except we wished we could have stayed another week! The property is beautiful and very spacious. There is a lovely breeze flowing through the house at all times thanks to the many glass doors that open to the terrace and backyard. The views from the upstairs living and dining areas are of the cozy, quiet neighborhood homes and the ocean. We spent many morning hours having our coffee on the balcony or enjoying the views through the open doors. an easy 5-10 minute walk to the supermarket, cafes and restaurants and the fish market in Oistins. We had planned to rent a car for our group of five but found it much simpler, economical and convenient to hop on the taxi busses that come by the neighborhood every few minutes. Some play music and go fairly fast but we came to look forward to our daily adventure rides with the locals! Wouldn't have missed it.

We highly recommend this property. It was exactly as described. Clean and comfortable with all amenities. The well functioning air conditioning systems in each bedroom were indispensable after spending hours in the hot sun each day. The house is very functional, spacious and airy, and provided lots of room for our group of five. Patsy, who met us at the property upon arrival, was helpful in every way and always available to answer our questions. If we are lucky to return to Barbados, we would choose to stay at SeaFern again.
