About this property

Jasmin-2 bedroom Cottage on our farm - 8 minutes from sandy beaches

Jasmin, our 2 bedroom gite is able to accommodate 4 people. Downstairs there is the living area, separated from the well equipped kitchen, a shower room with basin, and separate toilet. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.

Bed linen is included in the price of the rental for stays of 4 days and more, otherwise we can provide bed linen and towels for shorter stays for 15€ per person. Towels alone can also be supplied for 5€ per person. We offer an end of stay cleaning service for 30€, please let us know upon arrival and we will arrange this for you.

Electric heating is provided in all rooms.

The gîte has a washing machine, dishwasher and TV (4 English channels as well as French). Wi-Fi.

Outside is a grassy area with table and comfortable garden chairs. A barbecue is also available. Dogs welcome, we have 2 hectares of garden and are next to the public footpaths. There is a heated swimming pool for our guests to share between Aüril and October.

Wonderful time at Gite and throughout Normandy. Host very helpful ..beyond the norm.

The property and owners were fabulous. Absolutely. However the company, Owners Direct/Homeaway were very difficult and unusual to work with us. They cancelled our reserve then kept almost half the money. We will not use the company again but would go back to Will and Amanda's beloved Gite.

Beautiful place to stay!

Fantastic stay with great hosts. Beautiful residence with beautiful gardens, swimming pool. Our daughter was allowed to help with the horses every day. The dog was also welcome and had a wonderful time. absolute recommendation! Thanks Will and Amanda!

About the host

We moved to Normandy in 2006, we love the countryside and beautiful sandy beaches. Nothing makes us happier than eating the fruit and vegetables we have grown, or riding our ponies! We also keep goats, sheep and chickens.

Why they chose this property

We had stayed at the farm ourselves in 2002 and fell in love with the area with it's 200km coastline, unspoilt countryside, great food and relaxed approach to living. We have made many local friends who have introduced to us to a very different lifestyle to city living in the UK, I never would have thought we would know how to shear sheep, build stone walls or teach a pony to pull a cart 10 years ago!

What makes this property unique

Driving 10 miles without seeing a car, eating well at reasonable prices in the local restaurants, the seafood, the fantastic empty beaches, and the chance to own enough land to provide a fair amount of our own fruit, vegetables and meat.
