This is a top quality recently refurbished ground floor apartment. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom which consists of a bath, shower, sink, bidet, illuminated mirror and window. It will comfortably accommodate 4 people and is furnished to a high standard with English TV. Perfect for all seasons it has hot and cold air conditioning (metered) and ceiling fans in both bedrooms for added comfort. It’s located within a residential gated complex with landscaped gardens and 3 swimming pools. The top patio catches the early morning sun and has a table and 4 chairs for al fresco dining. The bottom patio has a brick built BBQ and catches the sun until mid afternoon, providing excellent sunbathing. it is also very secure with high balustrades. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the closest supermarket with others nearby together with banks, shops, restaurants and bars, which are centralised around the pedestrianised Rio Nalon.

My husband and I have been going on holiday to Los Alcazares for the last 12 years. We fell in love with the place and our family joined us there for holidays on many occasions. Its a fantastic place for families, it feels very safe.

What makes this apartment unique

We feel this complex is the best in the area as it boasts 3 swimming pools, has landscaped gardens and is very clean. We fell in love with our apartment due to its location on the complex. Not too far from the pool and more privacy on the patio than most.

very well located

apartment was very clean and equipped with good standard furniture and cooking utensils. key holder Clive very helpful. being elderly location was ideal. the complex was well kept. didn,t require a car, local bus very useful. plenty of shops supermarkets and bars just a few minutes level walk away.

Lovely town, and a high quality safe complex

Mum, dad and (nearly) 2 year old son all loved our stay at Dorothy's apartment. We stayed in October and the weather was perfect! +25c and nearly 30c every day.

The resort is so peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The beach is gorgeous with shallow waters and hardly any waves...perfect for a toddler.

There are loads of bars and restaurants in the town just a few minutes walk away, and a couple of supermarkets within 5 mins walk of the apartment.

The complex is secure, quiet and feels very safe. There are 3 pools, each with their own little "toddler" pool, and it has a community feel to it. Everyone was very friendly.

The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable and had all the equipment you will need for a holiday....even so much as beach toys for the little ones in the shed. Our only disappointment was the lack of wi-fi which was possibly a blessing! as it concentrated us all on enjoying our family time together.

Lovely apartment, fantastic resort. We can see why so many people have decided to retire there.

Fabulous apartment 5*

Brilliant apartment in an excellent location. We had a lovely holiday in Dorothy's apartment, felt at home straight away. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you could need including very comfy beds and pillows. Lovely having a garden to relax in and close enough to the pool to walk back and forth for a quick cool down. The garden had sun till around 3pm then we would just move to the pool. Used the bbq a couple of times and it was great. Would definitely stay here again, had such a brilliant time. We hope to come back to this apartment soon.

Fantatsic apartment in a stunning location

Los Alcazares is a beautiful destination on the Costa Calida, sitting on 7km of golden sandy beaches of the Mar Manor. Its just 2.5 hours flight from Manchester. The Apartment is on Puerta Marina a small development just 10 minutes from the airport. The complex is secure, wheelchair friendly and has 3 fantastic swimming pools. Its 5 minutes stroll from the main strip which is packed with fabulous restaraunts and bars and a further 5 minutes stroll from the gorgeous beaches of the Mar Menor. We had 13 Days of 30+ degrees sunshine out of our 14 day stay. We hired a car for 6 days at a cost of 57 Euros from firefly at the airport (very easy) which allowed us to visit Villamartin, La Manga and La Marina just a short drive away.

The apartment is ground floor with lots of outdoor space and a patio area where we retired to for lunch and pre dinner drinks every night.The main open plan living and dining area is well equipped and spacious with access to the outdoor space by patio doors. This area is fully enclosed and child safe. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need, indoor dining space and a comfortable living area seating including recliner. English TV and DVD. There are two spacious bedrooms with double in the master and two singles in the second. Bathroom again spacious with bath and shower. It is very clean and also has a safe for the valuables.

The apartment has sunshine all day on the outdoor space but the patio area is a welcome shaded area when you need time out of the sun. It is located about 70ft from the two main swimming pools + small kids pool, and sun loungers are provided in the apartment which are easily carried down poolside. Its within 10 mins walk of two large supermarkets.

I stayed here in June / July for 14 nights with my wife and sister and had a fantastic time. Everything we needed was to hand and We were met on arrival by Clive who showed us around the apartment, explained how everything worked and also some tips on where to go and what to see.

Most people in adjacent apartments were British and we found them to be very friendly and enjoyed finding out more about the location and its bars and restaurants. So much so that we are considering buying ourselves.

Booking through Dorothy and the website was easy and prices were great value especially considering location, facilities and how nice the apartment is.

Thanks again Dorothy for allowing us to share your lovely apartment and I cant wait to get back again soon

Set on the edge of the typically Spanish town of Los Alcazares, on the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor, meaning ‘small sea’ is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe. The area is well known for its temperate climate; long, safe sandy beaches; and warm, shallow crystal clear waters. The palm-lined, traffic-free promenade stretches for 7 km alongside Murcias blue flag beaches and is ideal for couples and families, with beach side cafe/bars, restaurants and children's play areas. There are several golf courses within close proximity, including the world famous La Manga. Murcia (San Javier) Airport is less than 10 mins and Alicante Airport 45 mins drive.
