This is a beautiful 5 double bedroom newly restored farmhouse offering flexible accommodation, a lovely private swimming pool, all set in an acre of well stocked private gardens.

Access to the main living area on the first floor is via an impressive external stone staircase or via the ground floor entrance hall.

The first floor comprises a spacious lounge diner with a fantastic picture window with views over the spectacular countryside of the Cerou Valley. The lounge features an impressive log burner for the winter months, a comfortable seating area and large dining table and the family television (UK satellite and French channels).

The spacious kitchen which is the hub of the home provides a great place to cook and dine. Leading off the kitchen via a light and airy hallway are two double bedrooms, one with full en-suite facilities and a second that can be used as either a double or twin bed room.

The first floor is completed by a large family bathroom.

The ground floor which was fully renovated in 2017 includes a fabulous double bedroom accessed from the entrance hall and includes en-suite facilities featuring a free standing bath.

A further second double bedroom can be configured as a double bed or two single beds.

The third double en-suite bedroom features a private snug with its own seating area.

The ground floor laundry room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, and sink.

The house boasts many original features including beamed ceilings, wooden and tiled flooring, and stone walls whilst benefiting from satellite TV and wireless internet access.

Outside the house is surrounded by well-stocked gardens on 3 sides with many secluded seating areas in the sun or shade, alfresco dining and BBQ areas, and a fabulous swimming pool.

The property is located in a small hamlet surrounded by fields and within a short walk of the Cerou River. The surrounding countryside is perfect for country walks, cycling, and running. The beautiful medieval bastide town of Cordes Sur Ciel is just 4K away (5 minutes drive or 15 minutes by bike) with its many shops & restaurants. This beautiful hilltop town, (awarded “France’s best loved village 2014”) provides spectacular views and a great Saturday market.

Our farm house is located in idyllic surroundings - a small hamlet close to the beautiful Cordes Sur Ciel. The lanes and tracks around the house are perfect for country walks, or for the more energetic, cycling and jogging.

What makes this farmhouse unique

Our farmhouse was fully restored during the winter of 2016 / 2017. The mix of original features and modern facilities create a perfect location for a holiday. The views from the picture window in the lounge are of lush green meadows leading down to the River Cerou. The garden has three or four seating areas which are perfect for relaxing or eating in. The pool provides escape from the summer sun. The wireless internet and TV (UK Freeview and French channels) allow us to keep in touch with the outside world!
