About the property

Casa Duas Chamines (House of two Chimney's) is a converted Portuguese 'Quinta' just outside the village of Estoi in the Eastern Algarve.

The farmhouse boasts an elevated position, set in its own private gardens and overlooking the surrounding hillside with plenty of space for parking.

Despite its rural setting, Casa Duas Chamines, is within easy reach of shops, restaurants and other amenities and Spain is less than an hour away. Faro airport is a 15 minute drive, as well as the beach and Forum Algarve (mall) with its shops and restaurants. The village of Estoi is a couple of minutes’ drive and is perfect for picking up essentials or grabbing a coffee. The nearest town is Sao Bras de Alportel and is a 5-10 minute drive. Here you will find supermarkets, shops, restaurants etc.

The house and some of the outdoor space underwent refurbishment recently. The work to modernise Casa Duas Chamines was carried out to the highest standard but at the same time keeping the rustic charm and original features such as beamed ceilings, tiled floors and exposed stone.

The open plan lounge/dining area is cosy and inviting, with comfortable furnishings, flat screen TV, DVD player and a log burning fire. There is also free wifi, a wide variety of board games, CDs and DVDs.

Patio doors from the lounge lead out onto a covered terrace at the front of the house. Here you will find a built in BBQ and ample space to sit and relax or dine 'al fresco'

The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and dish washer, as well as kitchenware, tableware and utensils.

The 'snug' provides a separate lounge area. It offers comfortable seating, a flat screen TV, DVD player, Nintendo Wii and games and a variety of reading material.

Bedroom 1 (master bedroom) is located on the ground floor and comes fully furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table. Across the hall is bedroom 2 which comprises of two single beds, bedside table, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 is upstairs. This room has a double bed, side tables, two chest of drawers, dressing table and full length mirror. Bedroom 4 has two single beds, two bedside tables and a chest of drawers as well as its own en-suite bathroom with toilet and sink. This is located above the master bedroom and is perfect for parents wanting to keep their children close.

Besides the en-suite there is two further bathrooms, both on the ground floor, with enclosed shower, toilet and sink.

The recent refurbishment has seen the large double garage converted into a bright and airy games room where you can play pool on the full sized, slate bed pool table, ping pong or table football. There is also a table and chairs, providing seating and a CD player.

The separate utility room houses an outdoor toilet, sink and shower as well as washing machine, iron, ironing board and drying racks.

A path leads up from the house to the pool, passing a non-shaded terrace with seating. The pool itself measures an impressive 10m x 5m and was completed at the back end of 2015. The area around the pool has plenty of space for sun loungers as well as a covered seating area and outdoor shower. The pool has an elevated position and the walls have been cladded using reclaimed stone from our land. Glass panelling surrounds the pool so that it complies with all safety regulations yet doesn’t destroy the picturesque views of the countryside.

Our aim for Casa Duas Chamines is to provide a homely environment that allows everyone, young or old, to have an enjoyable, relaxing, family holiday in the unspoilt Algarve.

Bed linen and bath towels are provided, however you will need to bring your own beach towel for the pool.

A travel cot, high chair, baby bath or changing mat are available upon request at the time of booking. We want your stay at Casa Duas Chamines to be as stress free as possible so if you have any further requirements please let us know and we will do our best to assist you.

Amazing!!

we stayed at this amazing home for 5 nights, the gardens and views are so beautiful, completely private and not overlooked by anyone, the home accomadates for your every need with lots of added extras such as books, games, DVDs, CDs to keep people of all ages occupied. Alison ( villa manager ) is always at hand on phone or text to deal with any queries you may have and is very polite and helpful. Advisory to hire a car, but we didn't and taxis were easy enough and around 20 euros each way into town/ supermarket etc. Only 15 mins from airport which also cost around 20 euros. Ideal for those looking for villa accomdation but unable to drive. Heather the owner was very accomdating and a pleasure to speak too. We will 100% be back and are missing it already! Xx

A fantastic property with plenty of space and very private.

We had a lovely week staying at this villa. everything you could possibly need was available. We had 5 children with us with the age range from 8 to 17 and we did not here those words "I'm bored" once! There is plenty of space and areas where you can escape to get some peace, the garden is large the games room was a great addition. We spent everyday at the pool we didn't need to leave only to get shopping! Alison was very helpful and always available if you needed her.

Fantastic stay well equipped villa

We had an amazing five days here. The villa was perfect, in a great easy access location, lovely secluded & well maintained grounds, superb swimming pool, plenty of seating areas to relax or eat. Great separate games room with pool table & table tennis & table football. Digital games room with Wii, fully kitted kitchen, loads of films books & cd's. They have thought of everything! Alison the villa manager was very helpful, even left some welcome supplies for our arrival. We would definitely recommend this villa & would love to visit again sometime soon. Fantastic value for money, better than many other more expensive villas.

Perfect relaxing wonderful holiday

Hi, we had a wonderful stay here. The gardens are extraordinary and the pool was fantastic. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It’s only 10 mins away from great restaurants. The games room is brilliant and we had lots of fun playing table tennis and pool. You need a car as the drive leads onto a main road.

Mind your head! The house was perfect for me but Paul is a little taller and bumped his head a couple of times on the low doorways – ouch!

Wonderful Winter Holiday

We spent three months and enjoyed every minute of our stay. This home is fully equipped to meet all your requirements and needs. It is a very comfortable villa both inside and out. The gardens and pool are spectacular. Even in the winter we spent many hours by the pool relaxing in the sun or walking thru the manicured gardens. The villa itself is perfectly situated on a quiet hillside just outside Estoi. You are located in the middle of the Algarve which is perfect for sightseeing. The fish and vegetable markets in the area are exceptional. You can be eating fresh fish for dinner that you watched the fisherman bring in that morning to the market.

Well equipped beautiful property in outstanding grounds

We had a wonderful two week holiday at this beautiful renovated farmhouse. The property is really tastefully renovated and very well equipped when you want to get out of the heat for a while!! The pool is outstanding and set in wonderful gardens. We made full use of the BBQ area and outside dining and the children loved the games room. We are planning to return, thank you.
