Large, clean & safe villa (sleeps 6) in private gated community with shared pool

My wife Elaine & I are pleased to offer you a lovely townhouse in Playa Flamenca, with bars & restaurants in easy walking distance, plus the beautiful blue flag beaches which are plentiful & only around 2km walk, or a 5 min car journey. There is also a supermarket just down the road, however, please note that for both this & the beach there is a slight incline on the way back, but if it's too much you can easily get a taxi for little money.

For the golfers there are also 3 top quality golf courses all within 5-15 mins drive, if you don't fancy a round, then just use the practice facilities & lovely terrace bars.

Our air conditioned holiday home is spacious, has free WIFI, plus TV SAT channels, is clean & benefits from having a large living space as well as 2 main bedrooms & a double sofa bed. It's situated in a quiet private gated community providing added security & guaranteed parking directly outside your door. There is plenty of space to relax & enjoy a refreshing drink, or just sit in the sun, with a front as well as back garden, plus there is a roof solarium & terrace.

The well maintained communal pool is just 50M from the door and offers a shallow zone for the kids, plus grassed areas to relax & soak up the sun.

On Saturdays there is a large local market directly outside the gated community, that offers the opportunity to shop until you drop, but is surprisingly un-intrusive. If that isn't enough shopping there is the fabulous mall at La Zenia, which can also be walked to, where you can find all the modern shops, restaurants & entertainment to appeal to any age.

Playa Flamenca & the surrounding areas are renowned for the excellent cove beaches, all of which should be visited by day across your holiday. But also there is plenty to do in the evening with a wide choice of restaurants & bars to cater for all tastes, including Villamartin Square which is a 5 min car journey away & provides entertainment as well as places to eat & drink. It's a little too far to walk, but you can easily get a taxi.

It's worth noting that the 2 main bedrooms & lounge/sofa bed area all have air conditioning units fitted, we ask you to be careful with your use of them as they are expensive on the electricity.

We had looked at over 20 properties when we decided to buy & had given up finding the right holiday home. That was until we walked into this one & immediately knew that it was the house for us. It had everything we wanted; the right location near the beach, bars & golf; a safe environment for children; a great shared pool; plenty of room inside, & most importantly outside the house, to relax. Plus, it is clean & well maintained. So, we both looked at each other & knew straight away that we'd fallen in love with it. We only hope you love it as much as us!

A key feature of our villa is its spaciousness, which you don't get in a lot of holiday properties, plus it's quiet, safe & pretty surroundings. Also, location is important & our villa benefits from being well placed for the main areas of bars & restaurants in the area, plus La Zenia boulevard.

Fantastic accommodation in a nice area

We had a great week and found plenty to do, if we were going back think would hire a car as a bit of a distance to supermarkets and beach. Paul (owner) very helpful and responsive which makes things so much easier . Would recommend property for a real home from home experience with all comforts . Thank you Paul and Elaine

Owner's Response: Thanks Denise for your kind words, you are welcome back any time! In terms of car hire I always think it's a good idea, as you can get to see more of the amazing surrounding areas. As for getting to supermarkets or the beach, we will add this to our information, but a lot of people walk there & taxi back, as the gradient back to the villa, although not particularly steep, can be too much for some & the amount of times you do it, it works out cheaper than hiring a car. thanks Paul & Elaine xx

Really nice property

Had a good time here everything that you would need is there, and very comfortable.

I had been to the area before so knew how to get about Only thing I suggest that even if there is only 2 people I would ask for 2 sets of keys as the gated bit can be awkward if one of you wanted to go for early morning walk.

Home from home

From the transfers that were organised, the friendly welcome from Margaret to the standard of accommodation we couldn't have asked for more. Everything that you could need was provided even hairdryer. Margaret is a gem had to call her to look at the tv & she was there in minutes. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you

Great Holiday Home

The property here is great plenty of space very clean and tidy and has all the mod coms like home from home. We have spent a month here and couldn't have wished for a better property. We had a problem working the TV when we arrived but Margaret the key holder sent her son around within minutes who explained how to operate the system what a nice lad. We will certainly come back again after our next trip to the Canaries if Paul the owner will have us. But overall a great experience and would recommend any one renting this property. John and Sue

Really nice accommodation and excellent location.

Very nice and clean appartment and very spaceious as well. We has excellent 2-weeks holiday there in July/August and loved it. It‘s possible to walk to bars/restaurants and the Zenia Boulevard but we would though recommend car-hire, also just to be able to go bit arround. It‘s a gated community so its which felt very afe and secure and also great to be able to drive through and park just in front of the apartment. The swimming pool area is excellent and we spent a lot of time there in the heat this summer. Our kids loved it! 😊?. Paul (owner) was very helpful and responsive and the key-holder (Margaret) was also excellent and helpful. It would have been good to have maybe extra two sun-chairs on the top roof. But this appartment is something we can definately highly recommend. Thank you Paul and Elaine.

Excellent villa

Lovely clean villa, had everything you need and more, close to some shops and bars and the market is great but you can't hear a thing from the Vila so you won't be woken up. Paul was great answered all my questions quickly would highly recommend this villa pool is amazing and quiet out of season.

Nearest Beach is Playa Flamence beach. Fine sand, clear warm water, rock features and beach bar with drinks and tapas. A 20 minute walk, 10 mins by bicycle (local hire available) or 5 mins by car.

5 mins extra walking is the larger La Zenia beach with water fun facilities, beach volleyball and beach bar.

Along the coast in either direction are many beaches including the mile long Campoamor beach just 15 minutes drive away,


Closest airport is Murcia, just 25 minutes drive away or Alicante - 45 minutes drive.


Nearest towns are Playa Flamenca, La Zenia and Cabo Roig. They have everything you could need, such as large supermarkets, banks, shops, restaurants and bars. Nearby is the larger town of Torrevieja with it's large harbour, unique seafront and many shops, restaurants and bars, only 15- 20 mins drive north along the coast.

Only 8 minutes walk away is the largest Shopping Mall in southern Spain, the La Zenia Boulevard. Many famous brand-shops and large stores, Outside cafes and you can enjoy the cooling mists that are ejected from side-walls continuously in the hotter months. A never-ending selection of restaurants to suit all tastes are spread all over the area, but especially the coast road through Playa Flamenca and La Zenia and Cabo Roig. There are several large supermarkets very close by and also LIDL is 5 mins drive away.
