But indeed the best that you can get from your stay in our apartment is to get a big breath of fresh air, to feel the warm glow of the sun on your skin, to smell the freshness of the flowers during all seasons and to sleep placidly because of the quietness of this special place.

You will not only enjoy quality built property, but also well-maintained community gardens and swimming pools and of course, access to the golf course.

The Mirabella complex is built in a beautiful valley opposite the prestigious Finca Cortesin golf course, close to all the amenities and services of the town of Estepona. It directly overlooks the Doña Julia golf course – a course designed by prominent Architect Antonio Garcia Garrido which is blessed with a clubhouse, a restaurant and a cafeteria, plus a golf shop and two magnificent professional standard grass football pitches, where top European teams come down to train in their winter breaks.

In addition to the golf, the complex is just a couple of minutes by car from the beaches of Casares – an area of the Costa del Sol which has thankfully avoided the kind of over-development seen in other areas and has therefore held on to its traditional Spanish roots. The beaches here are broad and sandy with easy access to the sea where bathing is perfectly safe.

As far as getting there is concerned, the road communications with the rest of the coast, Málaga and Gibraltar airports and indeed the whole of Spain are excellent with both the N-340 and Autopista del Sol motorways nearby.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour l appartement est très confortable, propre et bien équipé. Il n'y a que la cafetière que nous n avons pas pu utiliser. Le cadre est calme et reposant. Nous avons fait des jolies balades car la region est magnifique. Dommage qu'il n'y ai aucune chaîne de tv française ou des dvd en français pour les soirées un peu fraîches mais cela est un tout petit détail sans grande importance car l 'appartement et surtout la terrasse et le patio sont de vrais atouts. Merci pour tout et je pense que nous reviendrons. Un grand merci pour votre gentillesse et la gentillesse de Juan. A très bientôt j'espère.

Ten day winter break

Nice, well maintained property. Very peaceful, a short way up a hill from the A-7, giving good access to coast, towns and supermarkets. Underground garage, with lift.

The owner, Begona, was very helpful and quick to respond to general queries from afar - by telephone, text or email.

Excellent, I will strongly recommend this property

We had a lovely time in a very peaceful place. Beautiful location,modern, well equiped, very clean and tidy, easy access. We stayed 9 nights in May 2017 and everything was as we expected.

Lots of atractions arround so, of course, you will need a car .

The host is very helpful and with a great '' can do '' attitude ! Thank you , Begona!

Beautiful view from apartment balcony of pools, gardens, mountains to right and sea in front. Very, very well equipped apartment. Much larger than as seen in photos. Casares Costa seems beautiful at first but a short 10 minute drive to Estepona and that is stunning and where we spent most of our time. All the charm and sea side you could hope for. Excellent for kids to. Pool at apartment often to ourselves which was amazing for kids. Cant recommend this apartment and place enough.

Comfortable beds. Begoña, the owner, was extremely kind, gave us several sightseeing hints. I really recommend it.

The area of Manilva enjoys an unusually pleasant micro-climate bringing marvelous weather. This is due to it's position with the Mediterranean Sea and beach to the south and the Sierra Crestellina mountain range behind it to the north.

It is a major tourist destination because of its sunny weather throughout the year. Weather records show that the average day temperature in summer is 28º C and the sun shines for 320 days a year with only 45 days of rain. The winters are mild (17-18 ºC) with relatively little precipitation. The temperature is hot in summer, so shorts and hats are needed; winter is mild so a light jumper or cardigan will do fine for many days.

This is a privileged area of Andalusia with thousands of possibilities. Here you have just some of them that we have experienced, but surely you will also discover many others.


In this area you have beaches to suit all tastes.

Some beaches have man-made infrastructure, such as lifeguard posts, changing rooms, and showers. They may also have typical beach-restaurants (chiringuitos) where you could taste the delicious “espetos”, the Málaga fish-on-a-stick barbeque.

But you can also find our most appreciated treasure, wild beaches with their untouched beauty and preserved nature.

The nearest beach is Casares (10 min. by walk, 2 min. by car), taking the A-7 to Estepona, right at the first roundabout that says "Casares". It has a good “chiringuito” called “La sal” (phone +34 952890789).

II. "LA HEDIONDA" BATHS (7 minute drive)

This spa is inside a squared closed space with six meters long sides, one sphere vault and two barrel vaults. Water goes through the whole space: there are Roman baths, renovated by Arabs, with water that is rich in sulphurous and iron. The high sulphur content is due to a sulphur spring which flows from a limestone outcrop above the valley.

The legend says it was built by Julius Caesar when he was serving as a praetor. Trying to relieve a herpetic illness in these waters, he ordered the construction of the baths.

In fact the baths are quite popular on fine Sunday afternoons. Families from the village picnic on the surrounding grass under the shade of eucalyptus trees and the children take over the baths. Thankfully during the week this archeological site is deserted.

The baths can be reached carefully by two wheel drive car by turning off the A7 by the old "Grand Bar" (the coach trip stopping point before the toll motorway was opened and the building became a real estate showroom which is now abandoned) at the roundabout just west of Sabinillas village and east of the River Manilva, follow the poor condition road up the valley and under the large toll motorway viaduct.


To say that Casares is beautiful is an understatement. Most of the white villages are beautiful but there is something very special about the sight of Casares that causes the visitor to park the car and simply stare or take a photo.

It is hard to believe that this enchanting, typical village is only nine miles from the hustle and bustle of the coast and somehow succeeded in avoiding the coach tour circuit.

It is best to approach the village for the first time when driving from the coast road (N340/A7) by turning inland at Km. 147 (between Estepona and Sabinillas) near Torre de la Sal and head inland for 15 km. The scenery is picturesque, so take your time. Suddenly you turn a bend in the road, and are treated to a spectacular view of the village with its medieval fortress.

Casares is a pleasant white village to stroll around. Visit Blas Infante birthplace, Iglesia de San Sebastian, near the square or climb up via Puerta Calle Arrabal, to the Castle, ruined church, Iglesia de la Encarnación, old cemetry.


Puerto de la Duquesa really is one of the Costa del Sol's best marinas. The beautiful port of La Duquesa offers full Marina services for boating enthusiasts as well as a myriad of attractions for those with no aspirations to take to the water. For those that a do, a number of companies offer Jet Boat, Wake Board, Boat trips and Scuba Diving. The attractive promenades surrounding the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafes in which to while away the days.


Puerto Banus is known as the playground of the rich and famous, and the summer months are simply one long party. The Spanish equivalent to St Tropez, it's known as one of the most luxurious resort towns in the world and boasts an endless supply of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops to keep you entertained throughout your stay.

Marbella's hotspot, Puerto Banus, can be found in a marina located on the southwest coast of Marbella.

A security deposit of €100 is due on arrival, to cover any damages. Deposit will be immediately refunded in full on your departure providing there are no breakages or damage to the apartment, the keys have been safely returned and there has not been an abusive electricity consume.

Deposit of 25% is required on booking. The remainder 75%is required 6 weeks before your arrival date.
The prices quoted are for 4 guests sharing the apartment. For more than 4 guests (up to 6), there is a small charge (€5 per extra person/night) to cover additional linen.

The Apartment is fully cleaned before each rental - all bed linen and bath towels are provided.
Cleaning costs amounts to €40.
