Detached modern Cottage recently decorated and refurbished to a luxurious standard. Fully equipped with all modern conveniences the house has a newly fitted contemporary decor and is immaculate throughout. We have equipped the outside terrace with new patio furniture and a quality Webber BBQ for guests convenience. This is a cottage with everything you could require and only a stones throw from the immaculate beach at Sea Palling. The house is very spacious and offers luxuriously appointed well equipped accommodation for up to 6 people.

Why The Owner chose Sea Palling

Dormouse cottage is very centrally located a stones throw from the fabulous Blue Flag Sea Palling beach and close to Winterton , Wroxham , Horsey and the larger seaside resorts of Cromer and Great Yarmouth.

What makes this cottage unique

The beach is 500M away from the cottage , a local convenience store is 100M away and there are local eateries and a pub serving good food all within walking distance. A little further along the beach at Waxham is a large colony of grey seals, which makes a for lovely wildlife walk!

The house itself has DVD / BluRay and flat screen Sony TV as well as a quality music system and high speed wifi internet connection, as well as quality outdoor furniture and a BBQ , so altogether you could stay all week without the car and just chill! There is adequate parking for 2 cars.

Get in the car and major seaside towns are only 15 minutes away should the peace and quiet of sea palling be too much . There is everything from Casinos and horse racing as well as the Norfolk broads nature reserve, boating on the broads in Wroxham or Stalham and even Pier action at Cromer or Great Yarmouth. There is an array of local restaurants and pubs and even the shops in Norwich are all within 30 mlies.

The house offers fantastic private accommodation with every facility you should require and you will be assured of a very comfortable nights sleep given its modern hotel style luxury beds. BT BROADBAND/ WIFI Installed at the property. Outside: Outside is a well equipped and maintained patio garden with shrubs and plants / hanging baskets ( in season ) as well as a plum and apple tree ( help yourself ) the Weber BBQ is supplied for alfresco dining and you can eat either outside or in the conservatory on inclement days. WiFi is provided all over the house and will be available in the garden too ( subject to coverage ). The Garage supplies additional storage space for fishing equipment, cycles and any guests equipment.

the three of us stayed at Dormouse Cottage for a week during the Easter holidays and had a great time. the cottage was perfect for us. kitchen was well equipped, the lounge comfy (and with WII so the 11 yo was thrilled), bedrooms were good sizes too. it really felt like a home from home and the convenience store across the road was, well, hugely convenient.

location was perfect for us, 2 min walk to the amazing beach, 5 mins from the seals at horsey and loads of fab places to discover within a 45 minute drive.

Great property in excellent location

We really enjoyed our stay at Dormouse Cottage (Sea Palling). It catered well for our three generation party (5 years to 70+ years). The property was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed (the Nintendo Wii was a great hit).

Sea Palling is a nice little village with a great beach. The fish and chips from the local pub was great and the amusement arcade kept everyone happy. The local area has plenty of activities to offer all ages. We have visited Norfolk on a number of occasions and will do so again.

I would happily recommend this property and would seriously consider staying again should we decide to take a break in the area.

Great winter break

Stopped with grandparents and 2 children age 7 and 3. Warm modern comfortable home superbly equipped. Local village shop just across the road, beach 5 mins walk with cafe open even in February. Convenient for seals at Horsey, boat trips from Stalham and some good pubs.

Superb! Comfy and spacious, would come again.

My family of two adults and two children (age 5 and 6) stayed at this Cottage for a week during the Easter holidays and again for a weekend in November. Both times, we had a lovely stay.

The house is spotlessly clean, well maintained, modern but comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The house looked freshly painted with neutral decoration. Everywhere (except kitchen, bathroom and conservatory areas) is carpetted with a plush feeling carpet.

The lounge is large, there is entertainment for us and the children (some toys, books, tv, Wii, internet/wifi). We were warm there at Easter and in November.

The kitchen is clean and modern, with plenty of space for a family to eat. We cooked and ate there most evenings. In fact the whole house is very well equipped, from every piece of kitchen equipment you'll need, to hairdryers in every bedroom.

There is a downstairs toilet as well as the main bathroom upstairs. There is a large walk in shower, so very easy to wash two youngsters after a day at the beach!

The conservatory was a useful extra space too (we stored our shoes and coats in there after coming in from outside, although there is room for all that in the hall too).

The bedrooms are spacious and have lovely oak furniture (beds, wardrobes, bedside cabinets, chests of drawers), and very comfy beds with what looked and felt like new mattresses - a good nights sleep had by all.

The house is in walking distance of the beach (dinner from the fish and chip shop, eaten on the steps at the beach went down very well).

We also had several days out whilst at the house. We hired a self drive boat for 2 hours at Wroxham, enjoyed the farm and funfair at Wroxham Barns, went to Bewilderwood (30 mins away) for the day and Dinosaur Adventure Land (50 mins away). Overall, had a fantastic time both times we stayed there, we recommend this house and would definitely come again. Thanks to the owners for a lovely stay.

Within walking distance of a beautiful sandy beach, this property ticked all our boxes - it was also one of the best equipped we've been to. It makes a difference that the owner spends time there as they really have thought of everything!
