A true rural retreat

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a family gathering at Curlew cottage and I can't praise it highly enough. The house is spacious, warm and decorated to a lovely standard. The beds were super comfy and the bedding very nice. There is a great garden with BBQ area and I'm sure in the summer would be fab for outdoor cooking. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us with Whitby jam, bread, wine, butter and more - which was a nice touch.

The location is sooo peaceful, only the birds to wake you up. Great walks in all directions. We would definitely like to return for another special occasion.
