This penthouse apartment is on 2 split levels, with 4 bedrooms, sleeping 6-7.

The apartment is on 2 split floor levels, with the living area downstairs, & an additional living area / bedroom upstairs. A highly furnished apartment with great views over Miraflores Golf Course.

Fully air-conditioned/heating, washing machine, microwave, satellite & DVD (with UK terrestrial), additional TV & DVD upstairs. There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom & an additional double & twin room with shower room. There is an upstairs mezzanine room with a double sofa-bed, which can be used as a bedroom or a 2nd lounge. Extremely large roof terrace, capturing all day sun if wanted or areas of shade too, with a fitted BBQ for great evenings outdoors.

There is a lovely pool area & gardens. Amenities are only 1.5km away, & Riviera now offers some great bars, restaurants & shops. Two nearby leisure centres offer most sports, eg tennis, mini golf, etc. A short drive to La Cala & its wonderful beaches, bars & restaurants.

Great Features: A great feature of the apartment is the huge private roof terrace. The entire terrace is almost 80m square in total, and surrounds the upper level on three sides ensuring sun all day long if wanted. There is also a removable cover area for shade. The terrace also has a built in BBQ, and this makes the terrace great for outside dining and winter sunbathing.

La Cala De Mijas: Within a 5 minute drive La Cala is a lovely & lively traditional fishing village. There are lots of restaurants & bars to chose from, with something to suit everyone's taste. La Cala has a large Spanish community & is an excellent place to take part in Spanish life.

The beaches at La Cala have been awarded EU Blue Flag standard for cleanliness & named as the best in the province with the added protection of lifeguards.

There is horse racing at the Hipodromo (home of the Spanish derby). This can be a really nice day / evening out with bars, restaurants, shops, music & entertainment in addition to the racing.

The La Cala market is one of the best in the area, & is held on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

Riviera Del Sol: Riviera itself just a couple of miles from La Cala is a popular holiday destination, centred in and around the Miraflores golf course. The course itself was opened in 1990 & measures 5,710 yards. The club itself is a family orientated club & great for all standard of golfers.

There are also a couple of leisure centres in the area with excellent facilities. Riviera also has some great bars, restaurants, a newly opened shopping complex & a lovely beach area. lower level & two additional bedrooms on the lower. And there are two bathrooms on the lower level.

On the upper level is a separate living room / bedroom.

Upstairs, there is a mezzanine terrace offering a sheltered place to sunbathe and there is also a roof terrace. The apartment has its own parking space underground.

I am a qualified accountant and currently work for a Bank, currently living and working in Bristol.

I grew up in Cambridgeshire and enjoyed sports, principally tennis and this was one of the main reasons for choosing the area.

I chose the apartment for several reasons.

The orientation of the apartment gives wonderful views from both the lower terrace and top terrace but is amazingly quiet and peaceful.

It is also spacious and large enough for a large family or even a couple of families and with the BBQ terrace we wanted somewhere to entertain.

What makes this apartment unique

We fell in love with the upper terrace and BBQ, and being able to dine outside in the warm evenings.

SUBERB APARTMENT

What a great apartment, had everything two families needed for a relaxing weeks holiday. Everything described was accurate and to be honest it was better, the roof terrace was amazing!!!! great for relaxing in the sun late afternoon and barbecuing into the evening.

We did walk to the local beach/shops a couple of times 1/2hour walk with hills much easier in the car though, I would say a car is a must for shopping and exploring. We found a couple of beaches we loved were Playa Cabopino and Cala De Mijas both only about 5k either side on the A7.

We used the pool late afternoon early evening and it was never too busy and always clean and tidy, with plenty of space in the sun or in the shade.

We would definitely use this apartment again and recommend to friends and family.

Rick the owner was great from start to finish in helping us book and plan our holiday. I would recommend Ricks advice on the hire car company Fetajo they were great and so easy!!! met us at the arrivals and we were driving away within 10 mins.

Lovely property great location

Had a great vacation at a lovely apartment, this property is one of the best we have stayed in very clean, very spacious and the balcony was unbelievable, I would recommend a car, five minutes drive to beaches,restaurants,shops,and much more,the owners couldn't do enough for us stayed June 2017 we are going back to this area August 2017 but couldn't get this apartment as it's already booked, but looking forward to 2018 my tip book early well worth it.

Lovely apartment and great base to see all.

Excellent property, clean, tidy and very well furnished and kept. Duplex penthouse arrangement was large ( could sleep 8 really) with upper and lower terraces with views over golf course and towards Mijas Pueblo in the mountains. Upper terrace was lovely and used most days and for evening meals. Only a few minutes by car to the beach. Really liked Cabopino beach and restaurants. Marbella and Malaga (about 30mins) are well worth a visit, especially the old towns. Miraflores golf course looked good but didn't play. Just loads to do along this stretch of coast. Great base and would return to this apartment.

Very well presented property.

This property is in a very well maintained complex with excellent perimeter security and well manacured gardens surrounding an excellent pool. The residents are friendly , considerate and polite and there was never any late night noise.

The apartment overlooks the

fantastic golf course and is within a short drive to the beach.

The upper terrace became a favourite socialising area at the end of the day.

Great English TV, a must for my husband.

Absolutely no faulting anything about this lovely apartment.

Great base for golfers

Third time using this apartment, party of 4 x golfers. Spacious, well maintained with superb outside space, this is a great base providing easy access to the many golf courses in the area. Excellent value for money when sharing the cost. Nothing negative about the apartment itself. Only slight drawback is the lack of bars and restaurants in walking distance - so transport (own or taxi) is essential for evenings out. A minor blip however and when returning to this area, we wouldn't even think about looking for anywhere else to stay.

Great apartment for families

The apart

ment was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Our family of four (kids aged 5 and9) plus my parents stayed in August 2012. There was more than enough space for the six of us with the three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The roof terrace was superb and you could sit in the shade or sunshine any time of the day. The kitchen was small although well equipped with everything you would ever need! Air conditioned rooms were a welcome relief from the hot hot sun.

A car is a must as the shops/bars/restaurants are just that too far away if you have young children, but adults could manage the walk although it would probably take 20 mins+.

Pool area was well maintained only issue we had was taking the sunbeds down every day - although we did get it down to a fine art by the end of the fortnight. The pool area wasn't too busy and a few other English families were around for our children to make friends and play with. It did get quite busy on a weekend with Spanish families but this could have been because it was a public holiday.

Lots to see and do in the area Campbino Beach was lovely, we went to the zoo and to the waterpark. Wouldn't recommend the sealife centre it was very disappointing.

Overall it was 5* and would love to go back! Would certainly recommend!
