Our Apartment in Jardines de las Golondrinas is situated on the best beach in Marbella, right next to the famous Nikki Beach Club and is the perfect choice for a family or couples holiday being situated in a safe and secure gated complex that features tropical gardens, restaurant and swim up bar

The complex itself boasts over 130 acres of sub-tropical gardens which includes waterfalls, fish and turtle filled lily ponds & streams as well as a large outdoor pool with swim up bar, including snack bar, separate children's pool and jacuzzi. There is 24 hr security and in the summer months a life guard. There are many courtyards offering peaceful sitting areas in an Andalusian style village setting.

The second floor apartment boasts an open plan kitchen / dining / living area with 2 glazed balconies. The kitchen makes use of a dishwasher, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge freezer. The dining area leads to a small balcony. The main living area has the convenience of free unlimited wifi and a 32" flat screen tv, DVD player, and CD player. The sitting area leads to the main balcony that offers views over the pond and water feature below. The master bedroom has built in wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds built in wardrobes and leads to the balcony. There is a second bathroom which houses a brand new washing machine.

There are three commercial centres within walking distance, with a wide range of outlets - restaurants, bars/cafes, supermarkets, furniture, souvenir, electrical stores, pharmacies, beauty/hair salons, estate agents, banks, ATMs etc.The beach clubs of The Beach House, Nikki Beach and Don Carlos are only a short stroll away

We have been visiting the area of Elviria for a number of years and were looking for a property located within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets and chiringuitos. The beach side location and tranquility that Los Golondrinas offers was particularly attractive as was the secure feel and superb gardens. A paradise only 35 minutes from Malaga airport !

Comfortable and Spacious apartment in a great location

Perfectly situated just 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from Elviria, this suited us well. The gardens of the resort are well kept and the pool area is clean.

The apartment itself has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one being ensuite. The kitchen, dining and living area are on a split level and are open plan giving a feeling of space. These open out onto a balcony with some fixed and also some moveable seating around a generous table. The balcony gets sun in the afternoon and evening.

The kitchen has recently been refitted with modern high gloss units and is equipped with a halogen hob, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. The washing machine is located in the main bathroom. There was sufficient crockery and cutlery for four people which filled the dishwasher on a daily basis.

Air conditioning units are located in each bedroom and the living area, these were certainly required during the week we were there. All functioned efficiently.

The resort itself was quiet and peaceful as you would expect outside the main school holiday period. The resort is gated and felt very safe. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely apartment in Elviria

A sunny two bedroomed apartment in beautiful garden setting with two minute walk to the beach and less than ten minutes to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. We certainly hope to rent again next year.

Great apartment and location

Lovely, spacious apartment in Elviria east of Marbella. Short walk (about 5 mins) to the beach (with proper sand unlike some other parts of Marbella). Loads of facilities in walking distance - several beach bars, lots of restaurants, banks, a couple of supermarkets, taxi rank. Apartment is in a lovely gated complex - very green and well maintainted - 2 pools, an adult one and a smaller kids pool plus a jaccuzi. Swim up bar serving drinks and food all day a bonus! Apartment is lovely - very spacious - open plan kitchen/living space and balcony which is where we had most of our meals. Kitchen is brand new and has everything we needed. Plenty of windows too so lots of air circulates so we didn't have to use the aircon much at all even though we were there in July (Air con machines in both bedrooms and main living space if needed anyway). Pool area was great. Plenty of people there as you'd expect during July but loungers etc were generally available so we never had a problems. Apartment is situated away from the pool area as well so no noise from there - the whole complex is pretty quiet really even though there were plenty of people around. Great for both adults and families we loved it.

Fabulous apartment.....amazing location

This apartment was lovely.....very spacious and bright.....lovely big balcony. Kitchen is brand new with all the all the necessary electrical equipment including coffee machine (heaven for me)!

Majella (key holder) was there on time to meet me and show me around.

Pool area at the complex is lovely and the gardens are beautifully kept. Beach is only a few minutes walk.

Plenty of restaurants, shops within 5 mins walk!

On a bus route to Marbella and fuengirola.....really easy to get around.

Will definitely be staying there again

Décevant ...

Bel accueil de Véronika, mais le ménage est largement à revoir.

Forte odeur de renfermé dans les placards dans une des chambres qui empeste la pièce.

Les poêles retrouvées dans les placards de la cuisine n'avaient pas été nettoyées.

La poubelle de la cuisine était très salle, il ne suffit pas de changer le sac poubelle...

Les salles de bain sont vieillottes et pas très propres. Les petits placards suspendus (en bois) sont habités par des toiles d'araignées et des chiffons sales.

Au prix affiché pour la location, il faut être plus méticuleux sur le ménage.

Vu l'état des pieds de nos enfants dès le premier soir, le sol n'avait pas été lavé depuis longtemps...

La machine à laver qui est ancienne est très difficile à faire fonctionner.

Enfin, belle piscine, mais le peu de transats sont réservés dès le petit matin...
