The cottage, built in 2003, is part of the Testa's family property. The cottage is located in at 10,000 sqm. property along with a larger guesthouse.
Both the guest and the family are waiting for their families and the guests may need to stay in the guest house. provide guests with welcome drinks or cocktails upon arrival) Also the property is one of the following: on a "fist-time" tour or propose the best itineraries and amenities, as well as work out sightseeing itineraries, recommend restaurants and routes on a daily basis.
The property is provided with an orchard with fruit trees and vegetables. Sometimes guests will find a bowl of fruits and vegetables in front of the cottage door in the morning to be Used For Their breakfast or main meals (plums, apricots, or salad, tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, French beans, etc).
We are well served by public transports (bus and urban train) to go down to Rome (1. 5 km). Also grocery, butcher, laundrette, general shops are 500 m far from the cottage. Two malls 5 minutes drive. The Olgiata Golf Club (18 holes), one of the oldest and most famous in Italy, is 5 minutes drive from our house.
f you are looking for some absolute relax, the lakes will be your best choice (Anguillara, Trevignano, Bracciano are marvelous towns located around the lake of Bracciano)!
Anche our cottage can be used as a basis to make a one-day trip to Florence or to Naples. You will take a nice break in the pool the next day! Our Mini Villa is very close to the 18 holes GOLF COURSE OF OLGIATA That is only 4 km far away.

We suggest to book in advance your visit to the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Palazzo Valentini (Domus Romae) and Domus Aurea !!!!
We strongly suggest a visit to Ostia Antica as well as Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este in Tivoli. Colossem to visit the Museums and the Vaitican anche you can park in the train station lot onlu That is 1.5 kilometers far away the cottage and take the train Which leads to the metro. The price of the train ticket is 1,00 Euro only valid for 75 minutes Also for the metro !!!
Dayly ticket costs only 4 euros. The Testa's Cottage of Rome has air conditioned as well.

Quaint cottage near Rome

We had a lovely week stay . Our hosts Emanuela and Stefano were so friendly and helpful with places to visits and useful tips on getting to Rome! Highly recommend using the local train station to get to Rome - 1 euro each way!! The cottage is small but has everything you need and a well stocked kitchen with coffee, oils and spices , etc. The welcome basket and additional fresh fruit was delicious and a lovely way to start the week. The pool is exceptional - warm and inviting. Be sure to request the treehouse in your booking to make the most of the experience it offers! Perfect location for proximity to Rome! Thank you for the lovely, relaxing stay and friendly warm welcome. !

Hyggelig hytte med fantastisk pool

Beliggende i en grøn park er en hyggelig hytte og en virkelig lækker, stor, privat swimmingpool. Børnene havde meget glæde af at lege i haven og spille fodbold på banen. Værterne var meget imødekommende og venlige, og vi havde mulighed for at tjekke tidligere ind. Selve Cesano er ikke så spændende. Der er dog supermarked, is-butik/bager og pizzaria i gå-afstand. Godt udgangspunkt for udflugter både til søerne i nærheden og til Rom. Der er ca. 2 km til tog-stationen, hvor man kan parkere bilen og på ca 40 min være inde i Roms centrum. Billetten koster 1,5 euros, og der er tog ca hvert 20. min. Alt i alt et fint sted tæt på Rom med meget fin swimmingpool og have.
