About this property

Wellfield Lodge is a lovely, light, modern apartment suitable for a couple who wish to explore Seaton and its surroundings and enjoy walking. It is adjacent to our home,Wellfield, on the edge of a quiet, established residential area of Seaton, backing on to the countryside. The accommodation is bright, airy and tastefully furnished.

Bedding and towels are provided. There is one double bedroom, with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers & French doors opening onto a small balcony with sea views. Off the bedroom is an en-suite with shower, washbasin and toilet. The living area and fully equipped kitchen are open plan and includes a gas cooker and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a two-seater sofa and armchair, with a coffee table, TV with DVD player. WiFi is available. French doors lead out onto a decking area with a wonderful view to the fields and woodland beyond. There is a table and chairs and two sun loungers. Steps down from the decking lead to a secluded private sunny patio with a four- person Jacuzzi hot tub for the exclusive use of guests. Off road parking on private drive.

Lovely apartment

Great location, a good base for visiting the local area. The apartment is fully equipped for your stay. Quite and relaxing. The garden is totally inclosed with hot tub which over looks fields. Friendly helpful owners.

This was our second visit to the property . It was a wonderful relaxing stay in a quiet area of Seaton with the added bonus of a hot tub that we were able to use each day. Well worth a visit .

Relaxing & Quiet

A great little property with lovely hosts. Everything you could need is in the property. Added bonus of hot tub too! Hosts very accommodating with regard to our dogs. A 5 minute walk to an enclosed dog field was a bonus too. 15 minute walk to sea front and a lovely little town. We have a very enjoyable relaxing week to unwind and recharge Thankyou!

My wife and I moved to Seaton in 2016 as we wanted a place by the sea without the congestion of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth in the peak holiday season. Seaton, with its quieter pace of life is ideal for us.

Why they chose this property

Seaton is situated between Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, both of which are easily accessible within twenty minutes by car. The Lodge is ideal for people looking for a quiet base and wanting a peaceful break with access to the Jurassic Coast, and the attractions of both East Devon, Dorset and South Somerset. There are numerous local attractions within a short drive such as Seaton Wetlands for bird-watching, the Jurassic Centre, Seaton Tramway, the Donkey Sanctuary and other nearby beaches at Beer and Branscombe. There are many excellent pubs serving good food within the locality, and there are two golf courses nearby. The famous Haynes Motor Museum is a little over an hour's drive away and Clark's Outlet Village in Street is also accessible.

What makes this property unique

Quiet and cosy. The beach at Seaton and South West Coastal Path are a ten minute walk away. The Lodge makes an ideal base for coastal and country walking and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening after walking is a distinct advantage.
