Comfortable cottage, well-placed for the village

  • 4 of 5

We found this to be very comfortable and well-equipped; it is on the edge of the village, just a few minutes level walk to the shops and cafes.

The development is partly holiday lets and partly permanent residents, which perhaps should be advertised, as there were 2 dogs in residence while we were there. Not everyone is happy with them in close proximity (not us, we both love dogs).

The cottage is advertised for 6 and there are certainly beds for 6, and plenty of crockery etc.. But we thought it would be a bit small for more than 4, (there were 2 of us) and the fridge would not be adequate. Not everyone wants to shop every day, even when self-catering.

It is not the property on the end of the building, but the adjacent one, in the corner.
