A fantastic example of a traditional stone-built Provençal farmhouse, the property has been lovingly renovated with care taken to both retain the Provençal charm and also to provide a luxurious standard of accommodation with a wide range of modern day amenities. The house is set in 12,000m2 of private land. Mas Bel Argent is South facing and has an outside dining terrace at the front of the property and it also has a well equipped summer kitchen with a large built in stone barbeque that is ideal for outside dining in the summer months. The gardens are well maintained and surround the property, there is a large 15m swimming pool. The main antique entrance door leads you in to the open plan ground floor level, there is a beautiful Provençal dining area with antique table and an adjoining kitchen which provides all the modern amenities you could wish for. The living room is beautifully decorated with a large central fireplace and antique furniture and again mixes old with new.

Things to do: Cannes, Antibes, St Tropez, Juan Les Pins and the other fashionable resorts of the Cote d'Azur are all within easy reach from Fayence but the coast gets extremely busy in the summer and those who prefer a more leisurely environment may prefer to explore the historical villages in the region - Mons, Callian, Bargemon and St Cezaire. The Gorges of Verdon and Siagne are wonderful sights. A wide range of restaurants can be found, both in the village and in the valley, providing regional recipes. At lunchtime in the village, tables spill out into the street, and the locals enjoy their favourite pastime

Activities: . There are many golf courses, including Terre Blanche. A newly established Health Spa is proving to be popular. All forms of water sports are to be found on the magnificent Lac de St Cassien within fifteen minutes drive of the Villa. Fayence itself is a famous international gliding centre offering trial flights for beginners as well as a truly spectacular gliding environment for experienced pilots. Horse riding is available locally and all levels of walking can be found in the surrounding countryside.

Rustic charm in luxurious surroundings

We are a family of 5. 2 adults & 3 children (11,9 & 8). The star of the show at Bel Argent is most definitely the saltwater pool. A fantastic size with comfortable sun Loungers and the added bonus of a jacuzzi. The gardens are a labour of love and contain the most charming seating areas, one for every day of the week!

The farmhouse has been beautifully restored and decorated with an abundance of precious, personal items. The inside kitchen is small but well equipped but the outside kitchen compensates for this with an excellent BBQ, sink & seating area. We spent a lot of time here!

The broadband was very inconsistent at Bel Argent but in today's world of technology and devices we wouldn't class this as a negative, more of a heads up.

We chose Bel Argent as it has A/C throughout the house and accommodates children with a swing set & table tennis but now we have stayed we would choose it for its exceptional location, which is totally private & quiet, it's charm and comfort.

The most wonderful Garden of Eden

Bel Argent is a wonderful and truly magnificent estate - groomed in every detail over the years by the inspired owners and dedicated staff. If you look for subtle luxury in quiet surroundings, pretty far from everyone else, but still ideal for exploring all of Provence, this is one of a kind.

Fayence is a beautiful medieval village situated in the hills behind the well known coastal resort of Cannes. Twenty minutes drive from the the A8 motorway giving easy access to Nice Airport and the rest of the Cote d'Azur. Nearest towns are Grasse and Draguignan with Cannes, Frejus and St Tropez within forty minutes drive. The property is also ideally located to explore Monaco and Italy.
