Comfortable house in great surroundings
Six of us stayed for a long weekend. The house, which stands on its own about half a mile from the road, is well equipped, comfortable and has a great view. It is part of a working cattle farm, but the agricultural operation is completely separate. The owner took care that we had what we needed, offered us advice, but otherwise left us undisturbed. One of the family is on-site, but we had no need to seek his assistance. A wood burning stove was laid ready for us, and we were supplied with enough logs for the weekend. We walked from the door and also drove the short distance to Long Mynd. We particularly enjoyed an evening walk over the hill to the pub at Pulverbatch. This serves food, unlike the other walkable pub in Habberley. We would happily return for another visit.

Country retreat
Lovely place to stay in the countryside. Old building with new construction. Plenty of beds, hot water, and nice comfy sitting room. Short journey to town for groceries and restaurants, but location is quiet and remote.
