Askival is a fabulous, detached Isle of Skye cottage in an elevated position in the village of Elgol. The cottage has two king-size double rooms and a twin room, all with en-suite facilities, along with a separate shower room. There is also a kitchen, and a dining room, a snug with sofa bed and a sitting room with a woodburning stove and French doors to a balcony with bench seating three and views to the harbour, on the mezzanine level. Outside, there is plenty of roadside parking available and a short walk down to the harbour. Askival is a wonderful family holiday base for exploring this sensational Scottish island, all year round. Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, DVD, CD, radio, iPod dock, WiFi, telephone for emergency calls and incoming calls only, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Front decked balcony with bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk (summer months only) or 17 miles, pub 17 miles. Harbour 5 mins walk. Note: No mobile phone reception. Note: WiFi is very slow, streaming not possible.
