This charming cottage, once the village school is situated in Crooklands. Spacious bedrooms and a 'secret' garden. Ideally located for touring both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Kendal 5 miles.

The Old School is a delightful cottage, formerly the village school, and is next to the owner's home. The cottage is situated close to the Westmorland Showground, the village of Endmoor and is just four miles from Milnthorpe and can sleep four people. The cottage has a ground floor double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a double bedroom, a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen with breakfast bar and a sitting room with a dining area and an electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for three cars, lockable bike storage and a lawned garden to the side with a patio area and furniture. The Old School is a lovely base for a restful holiday. Amenities: Oil central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Lockable bike storage. Lawned garden to side with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk, pub 4 mins walk. Note: Property on an A road, some road noise may be heard. Note: There is an internal door leading to the owner's accommodation which is locked on both sides. Note: No children under 10 years old.
