Relaxing and scenic location.
Lovely clean and well equipped cottage in excellent location- a very homely and relaxing feel to the property. Good base for exploring with beautiful scenery and some great places to visit for walks and outdoor activities. Plenty of variety - went to Zip World, just down the road, with great outdoor activities all the family could do.

Arwel is a wonderful place to stay
Arwel in Chapel Garmon was exactly what we needed on our long week end visit to Snowdonia , helped by the brilliant weather. The well equipped kitchen and dining space with two lounges made our stay complete. Views from the garden of Tryfan and other peaks were a real bonus to this beautifully kept cottage. We will return !

Lovely, interesting old cottage with warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We met with our youngest son and his wife and family to do the Zip World activities. After a chilly active day it was nice to come home to a log burning fire. The cottage is very well equipped and we had no difficulties in preparing and cooking family meals. Lots of games and puzzles available too. The view from the top garden was magnificent and it would be nice to return in the summer to appreciate this more.
