Ski trip
This beautiful Home is truly exactly what the pictures show. It sits high and has amazing views. The home is stocked well and a great place for large gatherings. Truly easy to bring your food and prepare wonderful meals. Beds were comfortable and nice to have all the space to spread out. I can definitely see why people would enjoy the summer months here too. The driveway is steep and we were thankful there was not much ice or snow - so no problem for us getting to the house with 4 wheel drive and All Wheel drive. The host was extremely good with quick response before and during our stay. We love to ski - and this was a comfortable spot to spend our relaxing evenings. We will definitely go back. We knew there was not a hot tub- that was the ONLY thing I think that could be added to make this place the perfect spot. There is a HUGE soaker tub in the master - but truly not everyone got the use of that after a long day on the slopes. We WILL be back - even if a hot tub is not added!

Beautiful home and views.
Great location (though a bit off the beaten track) and beautiful views. Owner and caretaker super responsive and helpful!. Holding off on a 5 star as noted the house currently doesn't have HVAC. We rolled the dice but the time of year we stayed is iffy on heat/cooling via windows. Was mostly ok for us but if you have heat senstive people could be an issue though owner indicated that upgrade might be in the way.

Great home and fantastic views!
This property is one of a kind! I recently held a family reunion at Rincon Lodge and it was fantastic. Large enough to hold a big group, it has everything you need to make a comfortable and memorable stay. They even had a wheelchair ramp for one of our disabled guests. Kimberly was a delight to work with, as were her property managers. We were able to do a group ride on Durango's narrow gauge railroad train, a zipline experience for the younger set and a jeep ride to the top of La Plata Canyon. Everyone left with special memories of Durango and Rincon Lodge!

Family vacation
The property is beautiful with a spectacular view day and night. There was plenty of room and things to do for all 13 of us ranging in ages from 77 to 3 year old. The house was well stocked and felt like living in a home as there were toys and games in the closets. The owner and her manager were responsive to all questions and concerns.
