The Lillies is a great base for touring the Peaks, being within very easy reach of Matlock, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, great walking and cycling and spectacular scenery.

The Heights of Abraham park offers a great day out for families and includes such exciting activities as show-caves, nature trails, water gardens and the Owl Maze, as well as magnificent views down the gorge during the cable car trip. The beginning of the High Peak Cycle Trail lies just to the south of the town whilst the National Tramway Museum at Crich is also worth a visit.
