South Wales Homes has been renting private homes since 2000. 266 is our first Holiday Cottage venture. We have done our utmost to make this cottage a Haven for your enjoyment. We have been extremely privileged to have lived in this area most of our lives to enjoy the mountains and scenery and the many places to visit which are all close at hand. We live locally, and will always be accessible. We all speak English, but one of our team can converse in Turkish.
Diane Arif purchased this cottage in 2007
266 captured our hearts the first time we walked through the door. The charming wood beams, the stone wall and the old stone staircase to upstairs. This cottage was different, and we fell in love with it straight away. Since purchase we have completed many renovations, including new wood staircases, but retaining the 'olde worlde' stone staircase, although you can't use it. We're sure 266 will capture your heart as it did ours.
Once you go through the front porch you leave the rest of the world behind. Yet you're only minutes away from any amenity you could need. Light the log fire, jump in the hot tub, get in a takeaway and a bottle of something nice!!! oh!!! Sheer bliss
Diane is an awesome host who has thought of every detail for your stay!
We lived in the hot tub and went home wrinkly! We will be back for sure! :)
The Wastall-Bears
My parents had stayed at 266 for their anniversary, having stayed there for their honeymoon in 2017, and they were so kind as to come home to Birmingham to come and pick myself, partner and a friend and share their holiday with us.
It isnt our first time at 266, but our stay was just as perfect as the first.
The cottage was immaculate, with everything you need right there; hot tub and log fire being the obvious highlight. Bad weather meant we ended up running out of firewood, and we couldnt leave the cottage. However, Diane made sure we had all we needed by coming out in the bad weather to bring us some more firewood. She always goes above and beyond to make out stay amazing. Having to stay in the cottage was not an issue in the slightest, as there is entertainment in the cottage also. We fully enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank you so much!
What a fantastic place. Cosy and homely yet surprisingly spacious ( its like the tardis!!) The hot tub is a genius idea and was used a lot! The house had everything we could possibly need and more. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making their guests comfortable. The children adored the playground and there was so much to do in the area although you could quite happily snuggle up and not leave the house for a week!! We enjoyed our break that much that we have already booked a return visit. Diane is a fabulous host who is extremely attentive and a joy to deal with. We made lovely memories and can't wait to make some more in the summer. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
We have stayed at 266 cottage twice and have booked again we think it has everything needed for a lovely relaxing stay, our son loves the play area and its very spacious with a lovely hot tub. We very much recommend this cottage to anyone..Diane is a lovely lady and always makes us feel welcome
