The area also has some beautiful walks, with the Cheviots, Scottish Borders and the stunning coastline all offering opportunities for walking. A safe, sandy beach is located under a mile away in Coldingham. The shops, museum and castle of the historic fortified Border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed are within reach, as well as Holy Island, the seaside villages of Craster, Eyemouth and Seahouses and the picturesque Farne Islands which are all an easy drive away.
